"This restaurant was nice, but very busy when we arrived. It was a cold evening and they initially tried to seat us right by the entrance. After one person in our group spoke to the manager, we were moved to a better table. I had to keep my coat on for most of the meal because it was so cold near the door. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the specials and menu. We all ordered steaks - two NY strips and one ribeye - and they were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We also had a side of delicious mushrooms and I tried the carrot-ginger soup, which was also very good. We didn't have room for dessert because we were so full from the steaks. We had draft beer and water to drink. The food and service were excellent, but the seating situation made me uncertain about returning in the future."

"There was no hostess at the front door as we entered. We waited a minute. Then I went to the bar. No one there. Then walked into the dining area and found a waitress that evidently was working waitress and hostess. Kinda ridiculous I had to go find someone to be seated. The food was decent except the meats were a little overcooked and the corn was gross. Was mushy and tasted like it was sitting in hot water for 10 hours. Definitely not fresh and EXTREMELY overcooked. As much as I love corn, it was trash. Threw it away."

"I called ahead to let them know we would be running about 10 minutes late, and they assured me it wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived, it only took about 3 to 5 minutes to place our order. We opted for a booth, and they provided a bucket of water with disinfectant to clean the table and seats before we sat down. Our food arrived in about 7 to 10 minutes, and it was both delicious and generous in portion. I even took my dessert home and enjoyed it that night and the next day for brunch."

"When we arrived for our reserved time, the hostess explained that they don't honor reservations made on open table during the weekend and that if we wanted to wait it would be hours. It's unacceptable that a restaurant chooses to partner with a serviced like open table and then refuses to honor the reservation made. I will never return to this Famous Dave's, and quite frankly given that it's a chain establishment this experience is enough incentive to avoid all of their locations."

"Ouch! wasn't sure if I had rib tips or cracks. sad to say, this FD visit will think twice that this place has good barbecue facilities. at the beginning, the telephone order was slow. I almost made it to the restaurant before they pick up my order. then I had to order another meal and that went as smooth as sandpaper. the host was very human, but I did not get any utensils with my to GO order. difficult to eat a meal in my hotel without forks, etc. my wife is not happy with her cat, seemed to be overcooked. I am very glad that I had a hard busy day and decided to buy a few beers (I probably two 6 packings per year) before I ate my meal. without the beer I may have thrown my food in the garbage"

"We recently dined at Famous Dave's during the first week of restaurants being allowed to open at 50% capacity. The management took advantage of the closure to remodel the restaurant, adding more comfortable booths. The entry and ordering area has been redesigned with social distancing in mind. All staff are wearing masks and we observed frequent cleaning throughout our visit. Silverware, napkins, and packaged wipes are provided in a plastic wrapping for added safety. The food was delicious and served hot, leaving us feeling reassured about dining out with these safety measures in place. While we have also been getting takeout during Covid, we appreciate Famous Dave's for setting high standards and hope they continue to uphold them. Thank you for a great dining experience."

"we had reservations for our party of 6 and when we arrived on time, we were told that they had no table for us and that we had to wait up to 90 minutes. I spoke to a manager and expressed my disappointment about her attitude. I proposed they should have been prepared for our future. the manager said that she would cover up for someone else and acknowledged that the employees at the front end did not treat our reservation appropriately. I asked if they could put together two 4-ups and put us in place? I pointed out that when we arrived, they had actually provided two 4-tops, but the staff at the front end sat in these tables and told us to wait up to 90 minutes. the manager said she would work. about 40 minutes we sat. After we set ourselves, it took almost another 15 minutes until a server approached us. When the food arrived, the mais was cool and the meat was hardly warm and they didn't get the food out for one of our parties. so they had to take his command again. so he ate his food after the rest of us was done. they finished eating. I would have to say that this was not a good experience. I will not return. for $90 plus tipp was not worth it."

"The whole was very different from the other Famous Dave's location. I didn't like you to have to go order, then wait until you were served. If you have small children, you must actually leave them to order from a take-out menu, people were everywhere. You couldn't tell who the dune was with guests from the trainers. We were a party of 9 so that this place was very small that you almost felt like sardines in a can, but I could not understand why a reservation was proposed until we came there and saw why, plus they bring those big plates that were almost as big as the tables. This place must be seriously rebuilt. The food was as always spectacular and the staff also."

"I and my wife and daughter had a reservation at this point at 7:45. We sat at 7:50. We knew what we wanted so we could order our food immediately and two alcoholic drinks. 25 minutes pass and at 8:15 the only thing we had on the table was 3 water. No one was back to check us out and we didn't even get our drinks. There was something overcrowded, but not at the point where it should have been overwhelming for the employees. Now it's 8:30 and still not drinks or something. The table we sit on had a clear look at the kitchen area and my wife watched a girl who was a server came from outside to the ground and then go into the microwave and opened it and touched some corn with their bare hands to make sure it was hot and then went to serve it to a table. At this point we were fed and asked to speak with a manager to express our concerns. Another server comes to the table that said that the manager was busy, but she would be over if she could, so we expressed our concerns to her and she said she would tell the manager and check our foods and drinks personally.(yet no drinks on the way) 10 minutes later the manager (JESSICA ARCISD) comes to the table apologize and said she would check on our beverage order and told us that our food had 7 before him. We have expressed our concerns and have now given it the opportunity to do something. 10 minutes further and at 8:50 my wife goes to the bar and our drinks are already made and just sit on the bar counter without bartender in sight. Smh. So we finally get our drinks, but wait for food. (Don't forget that we have a 5 year old with us, who is also waiting and hungry)20 more minutes go by and around 9:15 the manager goes back to our table and noticed that we haven't eat yet and told us that she would check for the food. She comes back 5 minutes later saying that our ticket lost "

"Our family celebrated Easter at Famous Dave’s and we enjoyed every minute. Our 3 grandsons loved the ribs as did their grandfather.! The food was plentiful and delicious. The waitstaff checked on us occasionally to see if we needed anything. Very enjoyable meal!"
