"The food was fine. The service was acceptable. It’s a decent midtown lunch spot, except the decor is grossly sexist. It’s 2024 and the motif is all scantily-clad women. This isn’t just a couple of questionable pieces of art; it’s the logo on the linens and the cover over the butter. Silhouettes of naked women posing and bending over. Doesn’t that sound like a great place to have a midtown business lunch? I get that the place is called “Strip House,” but it’s not funny. It’s gross. I watched several professional women dining there as part of a business lunch and I can only imagine how some of them may have felt uncomfortable and objectified. If you want to do this at an actual strip joint by the airport at least customers know what awaits inside. Here, it can catch you off guard until it’s too late. It’s ridiculous."
