"So I’m changing my review finally. Because I finally food another Mexican restaurant that makes the guacamole for me a lot smaller and cheaper. First of all service here needs to be worked on. I think the waitresses got a little too comfortable with me because I was always coming everyday to eat here. Yes some stuff on their menu is good but not everything. I understand you want to make conversation and want to be cool with me because I was always coming but I’m just a customer coming to eat that’s it. Asking personal questions is a big NO. Secondly they’ve gotten so comfortable when I call to place a order they answer the phone saying want do u want I’m really busy… if you are busy then don’t answer the phone but to pick up the phone and say I’m busy want do you want Going forward this place is very expensive and not everything is good on the menu …when they service you water it’s warm and don’t add ice and if they do the put water first and then add the ice and warm still taste warm it should be add ice first then water. Also there water taste like start faucet water and they calm they have a filter for it. It’s disgusting so I don’t order water anymore or any drinks from here I just bring my own drinks now. Also , I can say this their guacamole is very good here but the down side is that they only do it one size and it’s a big size for 14$ very expensive and I don’t even Get to finish it because it’s to big … they don’t give you a option for a smaller one for cheaper .. so your stuck with paying for something to big and can’t finish . Orchata is kinda watery as well.their burrito de asada and chicken things toasda are very good and the ajillo shrimp dish is good but not everything on that menu is good. : this is Very pricy stop. But thank god o found me a restaurant that makes me that guacamole just as good and cheaper… when looking at my bank statements I’m spending 300 to 600$ a month on pulpo loco I think I derserve some better service … but that all changed now that I found me another restaurant… you’ll be seeing me a lot less now that I found that guacamole some where else lol :"

"Likely the most authentic tacos in the Triangle area. A bit off the beaten path and short on decor, it a a true rendition of the tacos we had at a roadside stand in Costa Maya, MX. Family owned and run. I finally got away from my taco habit and ordered the chili relleno, I asked for the spicy option. My Bride got the spinach enchiladas. Both of us had a beer (I had 2). Total, with tip was $35. Everything was great and the service was friendly and quick. Again, it is a bit out of the way, being about 10 minutes west of Chapel Hill on Hwy 54. If you 're into it, they have homemade menudo on weekends (not my thing) and ceviche tostadas. Check 'em out and their market across the road, too! "my wife and I decided to go to this restaurant, and we thought we would make a nice dinner. Unfortunately, after seeing other tables coming after us, a waitress comes to the table and asks us what we ordered. I advised her politely and she said she was sad, but they seemed to have lost our ticket. I looked at my wife and said we were waiting for an hour. we went to register and the waitress and we advise the so-called manager in register what happened. the so-called female manager has accused us of two tees and a chip basket that is slightly over six dollars total. I was horrified that after a long time we were still charged for these 3 items. the manager takes it up to get us a detailed reception to show us exactly what was paid. not sure. it was not that we paid for the three things, but not for the apology of the manager."

"First of all, excellent job to my waitress, Cristina M! She was very attentive, knew the menu well, and made recommendations for dessert (although I was too full to order any). I’ve been here many times but felt compelled to write a review today dueto the excellent service. I ordered their well known enchiladas verdes which were amazing along with a cup of queso with beef. Everything was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend this restaurant as well for someone craving excellent Mexican seafood asthat is what they are mostly known for but if you want a different take on enchiladas, order their enchiladas verdes and youwon’t be disappointed!"

"A bit overrated. I didn't have a good experience and our server was a tad bit rude. My soup only had 3 shrimp in it and potato bits(not even a whole potato). My drinks were good, but lacked in having a kick. More like a dessert. 12/17/2023- Met up with a few family members for lunch and we had a great time. The staff was very accommodating. I had a small shrimp cocktail and it was okay. Everyone's food looked delicious. They have plenty of space to accommodate large parties, but you should call ahead to make sure. I really enjoyed the time with my family."

The menu is the perfect size, with all of the authentic Mexican standards, and a few off-the-beaten path offerings to keep it interesting. We had several kinds of tacos, all of which were pretty good. The taco meat selection was also good, though they 've been out of cabeza for a very long time. The place has many prominent signs explaining why there 's no tortillas and salsa, how there are meat shortages resulting in higher prices and lack of choice and so on.
