"I?ve been vacationing in St. Aug for 20+ years, but hadn?t tried (or even heard of Old City Subs until today. We decided to check it out and damn am I impressed! The steak Philly was at least as good as, and arguably better than, any I?ve previously eaten. The bread was soft and fresh and the steak was ample and flavorful. Make sure you ask for the datil pepper sauce it?s awesome. The restaurant was clean, inside and out, and the employees were friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food is prepared quickly. The warm subs are wrapped in foil so they?re still warm when you get home. I?ll definitely be back (maybe for dinner tonight! ."
