"A party of 3, we've dined at Gabrielle's on 11/5. Food and wine were excellent, but the service provided a damper to our pleasure. Our male waiter didn't look happy at our table. Maybe as we were dressed, he expected a disappointing stay and tip. Everything started with ordering drinks. We were interested in the beer on Hahn. I ordered my pint, but my wife wanted to taste before the order, a reasonable request. In a rather insulting tone, our waiter asked my wife who wanted to taste her. Since there were only 2 elections, a professional approach would have been to honor a taste of both. But that shouldn't be. To the menu. We wanted to order appetizers first and then think about the main course. But no, it shouldn't be. Our waiter made it clear that his chef did not allow this order. Everything at once or nothing. As for wine, I ordered a CUNE Rioja Gran Reserva and our waiter brought a white wine. When we wanted more bread, I had to call the bartender over the dining room, because our waiter was nowhere to see. We rarely saw him. There it is. An excellent restaurant for food and drink, but mined by disappointing, tasty and unenchanted service. I hope it improves. We'll try. Our bill came to $348.04 and we left a generous tip of $100."
