"Steve 's Place. Don 't expect 'real ' italian or even NYC italian... I think of this as 'california italian '. I have been eating lunch at Lorna 's for about thirteen years now. I don 't get there as often as I used to when I worked in the UTC area... but this little place is somthing special. The food is always good, The prices are good for the quality and quantity. When my daughter was born and we had to remain in the hospital for several days, my best friend offered to bring us a meal. Yep, Lorna 's tagliatelle bolognese (my favorite! . I think i 've tried everything on the menu over the years, and many many specials... never walked away hungry and NEVER had a bad dish."

"Not sure where to begin-The meal was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in years-We started with a salad-Waitress brought a salad i did not order-I did not argue but did not eat-next was Lobster Bisque-never showed until we asked and then came cold-Finally after another long wait came the main course-My husband had the calzone which he left half-not good-he always finishes or takes home was not interested in taking home.My course was supposed to be their specialty-shrimp with bacon on polenta-crab cake and fritter-served ice cold-polenta had to be the worst i have ever had-no flavor-they forgot it needs butter and cheese-shrimp was tough and bacon not cooked--probably should have asked waitress to take back but at that point ready to just leave and go home and have dinner-also specialty on web$19 at restaurant $28-left tip not too sure why-I would definitely skip-Lure is right next door and that is a wonderful restaurant"

"Me and all of my families truly enjoy all of the dishes, especially their salmon/eggplant Parmesan. Their bread and dipping oil is also the best! Just sold my home and I still go out of my way to dine there and got a love their wine nights and outdoor fresco dining."

"The food is always amazing and as expected. The staff is a bit young and they like to chat amongst themselves not paying attention to the diners."

"The Lobster Risotto and Bread Pudding with caramel sauce were delicious, but even though we didn't order drinks or appetizers the service was nice, but slow. It took two and a half hours for just having the main course and dessert. They may not want to rush you, but it was too drawn out with many delays."

"Very nice Italian restaurant in an urban setting. I went there to attend a family reunion dinner. We had a reservation for 38 people. We were seated promptly, and enough servers were assigned to our party. Our service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The servers were attentive enough so that we never felt neglected, but they were not overly obtrusive. The kitchen staff must have been equally well organized because our orders were delivered in a timely way. The portions were generous but not excessive, and everyone praised the taste of their meal. I had a D'Angelo signature salad. It was excellent. They didn't have eggplant parmesan on the menu, but that's what I wanted, and they made it for me. It was outstanding. The prices were reasonable, and the decor was very nice. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was that parking is very difficult in that neighborhood, I needed to park three blocks away, and most of the seating is on the second or third floor, and they don't have an elevator. If you are in the neighborhood already and you don't mind walking up one or two flights of stairs, then I highly recommend D'Angelo's."

"I normally really like dining here but tonight has me wondering if I'll return any time soon. We had reservations and waited an acceptable time. After we were sat we were not approached by the waitstaff for over 20 minutes. What made it worse was tables that came in after us were waited on and received drinks before we were approached. If this was my first experience, it would have been my last. Everything went well once we were waited on and the food was great as usual. It just put a damper on the evening."

"Food was good, not excellent. My friend had chicken parm it was on the dryer side. The calamari appetizer was good, but a very small portion. My angel hair pasta with shrimp was again good. The other 2 in our party ordered seafood pasta, but were unaware of the available sauces, so got red sauce and were expecting white. Service was very good, but we will probably not be coming back, unfortunately."

"Had not been to this restaurant since the pandemic started. I had a reservation for mid afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant was extremely noisy in the main dining room and I was not able to get the desired table in the side room on Union Street. The service could have been better, as the wrong dishes were initially brought to the table. Although I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Very disappointing!"

"We went before the theater, but there were no reservations prior to 6:15 PM and our play was at 7:30 so we were concerned that we would be rushed. We got there a little early and there were only two tables of other diners, so I have no idea why there weren't any Open Table reservations available before 6:15. That was the first red flag. Our server was nice enough, but there weren't any specials and nothing on the menu popped out at us. I ordered the brisket and it was full of fat. The gravy was gelatinous and unflavorful. My son ordered the Delmonico and it, too, was totally fatty. He probably had 3 bites that weren't full of lard. Totally gross. My other son got the scallops and liked the dish. Husband got the parppardelle and it had so many olives in it that the flavor overtook the dish. When we left, the place was nearly empty except for a few people at the bar. Also, we sat in the middle of the restaurant, not even by the door, and it was still drafty when the door was opened. Overpriced food that isn't very good. Don't make the same mistake we did, and go to Cowell and Hubbard or Cibreo before the theater."

"they have a vegetarian section on the menu that contains choices between mosquito, tofu and sweet dishes. most of all is vegan, except for everything that is deep fried, which has in it for brothtime. However, on request they cannot bread/frühling. we have the veggie chicken of general tao dissatisfied and the spicy aubergine. and the vegetarian knödel as an appetizer. everything was very delicious. highly recommended!"
"our first visit was on the afternoon during a heavy downhill ride and after that drive through numerous roadways to get to rochester, and after the check into our bait and switch hotel room, we needed a break. lightly occupied, we chose a high seat on the chair instead of the lounge area. this was a good choice, as it was calmer and offered a view of the rainstorm. some cerle in a wheelchair smoking a zigarette parked right in front of us for a past we thought was strange. other than that, we enjoyed a Chilean sea bass and fruita de mare with large grilled garnels for dinner together with a bottle malbec, kreml brule and scotch dessert. the next afternoon we returned for a few drinks, but on a Saturday afternoon we were understaffed and I had to tell the food server how to make a gin martini. they did not wear tanquery gin. Friday is the best, Saturdays, not so much."

"its been a while since eating here. was very disappointed with the menu selection, the food quality, and service. We were constantly being rushed. Hadn’t gotten 1/2 way through appetizers and they started clearing plates and food away, constantly rushing through coarses. the food quality was the most disappointing, the food was very subpar. I could’ve made a better meal. Ravioli was frozen, Cacio E Pepe was like noodles with butter, and it just was very basic, no flavor. Chicken Melanese greasy. Our server was nice but inattentive, and uncomfortably rushed us. So many other restaurants with better food and service. Skip it. this used to be a favor of ours. Sad to see it go doen the tubes, very disappointing."

"Service was great. The food was good. My girl had an act on Risotto that was better than my Ravioli. The owner worked there the room that is a nice touch. We had no reservations, but got a table for two without waiting. The staff ensured that we received our order before ordering a large group nice, thoughtful touch."

"Over all 8.5/10First off!!! Just get in line, walk to the counter, pay and u get a number, then u can sit anywhere but stick the number onto the top of the tray so the server can find u.
