"Have eaten at Dempsey’s several times on our way to the lake. Love the pizza and service has usually been great. Tonight, July 17, 2024, our table server was great but the bartender did a poor job. We had a question on a particular beer and our server had to wait a long time before the bartender acknowledged our server and answered our question. Later, we ordered s second beer and we waited so long that we finished our meal and canceled the beer order. The bartender was polishing the bottles behind the bar, which apparently took precedent over serving customers. Our server apologized for the delays and tried to protect the bartender but there was an inference that there is an unresolved problem with the bartender. Incidentally, the restaurant was not that busy, perhaps 50% of capacity, and customers were not waiting to be seated."
