"I realize it was Motherâs Day and they were busy but the waitress certainly could have been more Friendly. Food service took for ever and we actually went minutes without seeing our waitress, mind you this isnât a huge place. Maybe sears people. We saw the other waitress many times but never saw ours. Refills were hard to come by and at minimum I would have expected a comment from the waitress that she was sorry for the delay and slow service. That didnât happen. We were a party of with kids so of course it will be hectic. Very difficult to keep little ones busy for such a long time. In all fairness weâve eaten here or times previously and really love the food. Never experienced service this bad in previous visits. Not sure I will return as this left a bad taste in our mouths."

"I have been going to Piper's for years. It is my favorite local restaurant. I love their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the shrimp grits. I have told all my friends that Piper's has the best shrimp grits in all of Raleigh. Once my friends tried it they all agreed. The people working there are usually nice friendly. It is rare that we get bad service. I definitely recommend going to Piper's."

"Staff were friendly but not constantly hovering like some of the other places in this area. I didnt feel rushed.<br/ <br/ The weekday breakfast special is an almost unheard of value in this downtown area.<br/ <br/ You must try their chicken and waffles as it is an experience all by itself. The spicy syrup had me skeptical but one bite made me a believer. This is a must try destination i have revisited with friends."

"Excellent friendly service, fresh food, never disappoints. Oysters are a must try. My wife does not like seafood, but here she enjoys the popcorn shrimp, tostada de ceviche, and the chicharon de tilapia.Food: 5/5"

"First of all let me say that the food was good, for the most part. In particular I'm speaking of the fried fish that I had. However, there were so many other things wrong that this one truth pales in comparison. When we first arrived at the restaurant there was no one there at the door to greet us. There was someone standing there. But he didn't greet us. My wife had to greet him before he said a word to her! That should have been the first sign of what we were in for. We were sat at a table in the bar area, and given two menus. The table we were sat was way in the corner, facing an unfinished wall, with a lot of exposed pipes sticking out of it! Then another woman came and offered us Bar menus. BUT NO ONE EVER came to see about us! I actually had to go and find a waiter to take care of us. When that waiter did come, he was very polite. And seemed to be very attentive. He took our drink orders (we asked for water with lemon). But, I think he forgot all about us after he took our drink orders. He never did come back with our water. The bartender saw our situation and gave us some water. THEN he showed up with our water! After that, he took our food orders. I ordered the fish and waffles, with grits. My wife ordered the Gold Coast skillet. And, again I believe he completely forgot about us. We sat a long time and by the time we got our food it was cold! I guess it became apparent that we weren't very happy with how we were being treated. Someone who we believe to have been the owner, or perhaps a manager, came over to the table to ask us how we were enjoying our meal. I told him about some of the problems that we were having. He apologized, and told us that he was going to fire this waiter. To my wife and I that seemed very unprofessional! Then, he was followed by the host (who didn't greet us in the first place) asking the same questions as the manager. I told him that my food had gotten cold. So he offered to get me some more grits. During the periods of our apparent non-existence, my wife noted that those of a particular ethnic background were being greeted and seated much more quickly than those of another ethnic background. But, I won't say anything more on that topic. It was just an observation. So all in all, I'd say, don't eat in. And think about it veggie you order out. The fish is the only reason I didn't give this place 1 star!"

"I was looking for a pickup order and they were very fast to take my order down and my food was ready even if I arrived earlier than the estimate lead time. Food and service are always great, very happy to see that the pandemic has not changed that."

"Average Italian food, nothing special. The crab ravioli, which was not handmade, was inedible. The ravioli was stuffed with something so sour I gagged. Sent it back for stuffed shells with red sauce that had the texture and taste of tomato soup. Maybe the pizzas are better. I will not go there again. "I am really glad to have tried this place. I would have never known about it if my friend had suggested we try it out. They have quite a few options on their lunch menu and regular menu. The calamari definitely was the favorite, but I also enjoyed the fried zucchini. The Boston clam chowder was good, but I want to try their red chowder next time out of curiosity. Both the fried and grilled seafood were cooked and seasoned well."

"We ordered 2 wagyu filet 8oz, Brussel sprouts, fries, and Caesar salad. We inquired about the portion sizes for the sides, as we had overheard another table being told they were for 2 people. Despite our waiter saying they were for 1 person, it turns out they are actually meant for 2, resulting in a lot of wasted food. The Brussels sprouts were decent, but the steaks we ordered medium well were served to us still rare. After sending them back, they came out overcooked and still underdone in places. The Caesar salad was tasty, although the dressing wasn't traditional Caesar, it had a pleasant lemony flavor. The fries were crispy and delicious. The restaurant itself was lovely, with rose petals on the table for our anniversary, a nice touch. Overall, it was a mediocre experience, especially considering the high price of $225 for a 2 person meal. It should be noted that the steaks come with a bone on the plate for bone marrow consumption, which may not be to everyone's taste."

"AMAZING! The garden grits were to die for and my friend won't stop raving fried chicken sandwich. We will absolutely be going back before we leave for Vegas again! They had good deals on mimosas as well and the staff was extremely friendly. We were originally supposed to go to Brenda's but the wait was too long- and now I'm happy it was."

"Faboosh! We came for a quick lunch and had the French bath. It was wonderful. Especially with roasted Brussels splashes with bacon aioli! We enjoyed the music, classic cars on TV and the ability to play Keno. It is trendy and cool and definitely a place where we will come back. Next time we bring friends!"

"My brother, sister, sister-in-law and I came to Miami from different parts of the country to surprise my mom on her 75th birthday. She was blown away. One place that she and my step dad insisted on eating was Havana Harry 's. After I left, I can only say that the Cubano cuisine was ;off the hook ; (as the youngsters would say). I ordered the churrasco (double portion) and it was tender. And I come from a family of butchers. But all the food was tasty from the plantains to the black beans, onions, and rice that was part of the meal. You 're served with class. I even noted that the restrooms were kept spotless. It 's not intended to be a quiet place but to be a fun raucous place. My suggestion is to ENJOY!"

"A fishfield playing Blues music. That's it, that should be the whole review and enough to get you in, but here are some pictures to tempt you. The fish is so delicious and the sides are fantastic. I have planned trips to Fort Worth for purpose JUST so I can eat in this place."
