"Stopped in with a very large group and we were welcomed like family. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. Our table had fried fish, fried shrimp and chicken fried steak. The onion rings are wonderful. The selection of homemade pies is one of the beat I have seen. I got to try coconut, chocolate, cherry cream, and pineapple. Dont miss out on this San Angelo favorite! "We are huge fans of Turkish cuisine and have been visiting Kazan for decades. We've always enjoyed our meals there and last week was no exception. Typically, we come on a Friday or Saturday so we can enjoy the doner kebab. It was excellent, as it almost always is.The one area for improvement? Our sigara borek was not freshly prepared. At all of the Turkish restaurants in the area, the sigara borek typically come fresh, hot, and crispy right out of the fryer. But last week at Kazan, ours came just warm, old, and soggy. And the cheese borek lacked that bite and sharpness that I've come to expect from beyaz penir in authentic Turkish borek. There was clearly something that wasn't done right. Perhaps they were just cooked earlier and quickly warmed up before serving?We'll continue to come to Kazan, to be sure. Just perhaps without ordering one of our favorite dishes the sigara borek. It's a great place to be on a weekend night."

"The experience at this restaurant was incredible! The service, wine, food, and ambiance were all fantastic. We enjoyed a glass of local Pinot Grigio and Malbec, as well as a mushroom appetizer, generous salads, warm bread with whipped butter, and our main courses. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the steak and salmon, which were all delicious and served in large portions at a reasonable price. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant while in State College!"

"My wife and I did the tourist thing and went here while I visited Boston. It was relatively empty when we came to lunch, so the service was quite fast. Our server was very nice and friendly, they gave recommendations what we should order. They brought us to start corn bread, it was super soft and damp. It wasn't too sweet what I liked. We got the Clam-Chowder to start, and I got the lobster Mac and cheese for my duck. My wife has the lobster ravioli. Overall the meal was quite good, but for us the decor on the wall was the coolest part of the meal. Definitely a cool place to see while in Boston, but definitely more for tourists I think."

"We made reservations several days before arriving in Montreal and wanted to have a nice steak dinner. We found it. We shared a wonderful Bordeaux wine. My wife and I ordered the escargot appetizer while my son had the salmon tartar for his appetizer and...he found it alright, but nothing special. The escargot appetizer was covered in melted cheese and the escargot were a good size, but could have had more flavour. We then ordered three 6 ounce fillet steaks with garlic mashed and vegetables for our mains. The steaks arrived perfectly cooked to our requests, the garlic mashed were soft and tasty and the coloured carrots and broccolini was a good addition. All three of us really enjoyed our steaks and meals. The waiter (knowing it was my birthday brought me a complimentary slice of chocolate cheese cake with a sparkler on it). it was a good desert. My son had the creme brulee and said it was good. Our server was efficient and polite we had a nice table. We would certainly return here."

"My wife and I, and our dear friends and business partner, went to dinner at the station again Saturday night. We always go early, 5:00 PM we were taking to our table and our friends were 15 minutes late, no problem. My wife and I enjoyed a cocktail and when her friends arrived, their cocktails were promptly delivered. Dinner was fabulous. Aki tuna appetizer for two of us. One person got a pear salad with blackened shrimp, another Gorgonzola fillet, stuffed salmon, and jambalaya. The service was amazing. The food all came together, and we enjoyed delicious perfectly cooked meal. My colleague said that he loves this place, I feel the same way. The owners are attentive, the weight staff is fabulous. Everyone is super nice. on my way out we all acknowledged that we will come next week as well. We have a reservation for 5 PM next Saturday. "

"Having made our reservation OpenTable (and printed a copy), I presented the reservation to the host and he remarked what is this- I 've never seen this before? And with this, he simply added our name to the long waiting list. When I queried him as to Famous Dave 's had the OpenTable reservation as an option on its website, he simply shrugged his shoulders and ignored me. Very likely I will NEVER be a return patron at Famous Dave 's!! Our treatment was rude and offensive...….."
