"We started with the fried pickles and onion rings as appetizers. Both were absolutely delicious, and the onion rings are house-made, which made them even better! I ordered the coconut shrimp basket along with red beans and rice, which has always been one of my favorites. I can't recall what the rest of my party ordered because I was so busy enjoying my meal. Everyone else loved their dishes too and kept praising how wonderful everything was. My son and his wife, who were visiting from out of town, mentioned they can't find food as good as this where they live. In fact, my son claimed it was the best meal he had in a long time.
Our server, Ansley, was truly amazing! I highly recommend requesting her. She was incredibly kind, had a bright smile, and despite the restaurant being at full capacity, our drinks were always refilled, the service was excellent, and all our food was served hot and fresh. Ansley provided a level of customer service that is rare nowadays—she was simply perfect!
The new location is clean and well-maintained. Our table was spotless when we sat down, and the restrooms were kept tidy even during the rush. Whatever their process is, it really helps things run smoothly!
We will definitely return to the new location and I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! Oh, and they also have a lovely outdoor seating area."
