"This place is cozy. It's narrow with bench and chair seating upstairs and downstairs. The low lighting may make it difficult for some to easily read the menu. The food is easily good overall, but I'd skip the artisan bread board. I found the fritters greasy and the other offerings fairly bland. The chicken milanese was delicious and the garlic green beans were outstanding. The roasted poblano soup was enjoyable and I loved the jalapeño cocktail. I've been a few times and will continue to go back."

"I was so excited to take my mother here for mothers day. I looked you guys up and saw you give a great mothers day experience so i thought. Firstly you guys advertised complementary valet on mother’s day, i had to pay $20….then i sit down and the server automatically began excluding me from things because i was not a mother….first i have to say not one person knows peoples journeys of being a mother and the fact that he was asking that already was something ive seen on mothers day. You dont assume or not assume someone is a mother and the fact that he based his service towards me that way was off putting. Especially when i was the one who was paying….in the future please make all women feel appreciated on that day and not purposely exclude non mothers. Also poor decorations for the holiday it looked very masculine"

"our waitress was super friendly and our eating came super fast! eating was really delicious! we ordered both filet mignons and let it cook medium rare. it was a bit more on the rare side, but unlike that it was great. great ambiente for a date night and is looking forward to a visit again and try something new!"

"I am happy to say that we had a wonderful experience at the Chancellor’s House this weekend for our Parents Weekend event with over 100 people. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We absolutely loved using the ballroom with access to the patio area. We served a Southern fare menu that was thouroughly enjoyed by all and accompanied with a full bar with fantastic bartenders! We had plenty of seating inside and out, room for our band along with a dance floor and space for a silent auction. It is an excellent location close to the city square and the university which made it so convenient for everyone. Thank you to manager, Clifton, for making it a completely enjoyable experience that we wouldn’t hesitate doing again!"
