"Old location was so nice : new location is takeout only basically. Also I'd only recommend pickup, not ordering in person. The vibe isn't very chill for waiting. I think a takeout pizza place should have some warm slices ready too..."

"This place just continues to disappoint. Called them to inquire why my order hasn 't arrived after almost an hour and the response was that it will be another 30 minutes and 1.5 hours is Very Normal . No apologies offered. And the 20% tip is charged upfront for terrible service! Very disappointed, Pizza showed up almost two hours after was ordered and was cold and burnt. I called the store to complain and was told they’ll give us a $20 store credit on $100 order. Totally unacceptable from start to finish. Done with Amicis San Mateo."

"My husband and I enjoyed a meal with my elderly parents on a weekend evening. This was our first visit and we would definitely return. Tortino Mare's fresh bread and olive oil to start were delicious. We ordered several pizzas and the crust was excellent and the ingredients were fresh. We also ordered a rigatoni dish which got rave reviews. The seating is comfortable and the tables are far enough apart that you can enjoy your conversation. Tortino Mare is home-y and the food is quite good. And the parking was easy."

"Delicious pizza, but they've recently decided to outsource delivery to DoorDash. Ever since, it's frequently been cold and a disaster when delivered. The last pizza was the final straw, the pizza had been flipped up on itself and the pasta had congealed. Will NOT be ordering from them until they bring back in-house delivery drivers."
