"Excellent service even though they were down 2 servers. Food was hot and fresh and good. Every table was full. Great time for a nice Irish pub restaurant. Just don’t expect a Florida summery vibe here it’s not what it’s about. Loads of beer on tap to choose from. I highly recommend Fionn Mcools"

"I am so sad to learn that you are closing your restaurant. For the last 8 years I have gone there for brunch before the last matinee performance of whatever Portland Stage was doing. Also had dinner there several times before other performances. I love the restaurant-the food was always fun and delicious, the ambiance perfect for a theater cafe, the prices very reasonable; I learned about new favorite wines from your posted suggestions; the wait staff always was efficient and added sparkle to a brunch out with other lady friends. Thank you for your presence in my life-I'll miss you. I wish you great success in your next venture."

"We were staying near by and wanted some pub food. Our reservation was honored on time. The wait staff was attentive and food was great and came as described. Biggest issue is noise level and music level. very noisy and loud and place was not even super busy. Problem is there is no sound absorbing surfaces to disaimpate noise and with music volume too high takes away ambience to enjoy meal."

"I had real high hopes for Pats and I was a little disappointed. I order a New York strip steak on a whim. It was a great cut of meat and cooked perfectly. However it wasn't very flavorful. My wife ordered the fillet which was better than my meal. We both ended up using steak sauce since our steaks just didn't have much flavor. I ordered Lima beans and fries which were good. On the whole I just don't feel like I ate a $45 steak. I could have got a steak of equal quality foot half that at some chain. On the positive side the owner was there and he's great a really sweet guy. The ambience is terrific I loved the building. Plus the serve was first rate. My wife and I are coming back to give it another try before rendering a final judgement."

"Dublin Square is a lively Irish pub that offers genuine Irish cuisine. I kicked off my experience with an Irish Mule, which is made with Irish whiskey, ginger, and lime, served in a classic copper cup that..."

"I heard about this place about 20 years ago and wanted to try it for a celebration for my boyfriend. The pictures online must be from when they first opened. It’s shocking when you get inside. I wished I had walked out but didn’t want to make a scene in front of my BF. It’s old and dirty. We ordered a bottle of wine that took over 30 mins to arrive be opened. The wine tasted as it had been turned and the cork was completely dry meaning they don’t store wine properly. Each food item took 30 min each to serve. I ordered the Irish dish they are known for they were out so I had to choose a steak. Once we got the main course served. My meat had been frozen it was not a filet mignon as advertised. I did not eat it. The vegetables were awesome. Within 10 min of serving the main course the lady kept coming back asking to clear the table. It was weird. The whole process took 2 hours. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Not worth the $200 spent. Stay away."
