"My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Mela. The butter chicken and chicken vindaloo were both delicious, served promptly, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return in the future."

"Unfortunately, this was such a bad eating. admitted, it's hard to find amazing Indian food in boston, but that was really bad. we ordered the vegetarian thiali for 2, and they forgot to involve naan and the samosas, and instead of ingwereeeis they contained a strange artificially tasting egg. the mango leti was so sweet I couldn't really drink it. for $45 the meal was terrible. I hate to leave bad critikens because I want to support local businesses, but we have sincerely shocked ourselves by this experience and want no one else to waste their money and as disappointed as we were."

"Located in a cozy residential area just outside the city, this restaurant has a charming family-owned feel. The food leans towards Americanized flavors, which may disappoint those looking for traditional Indian cuisine. The "butter chicken" had a stronger tomato sauce taste rather than the usual buttery masala flavors with fresh tomato sauce. The service was excellent and prices were reasonable. Be sure to try the delicious cardamom ice cream."

"The owner was a great guy and welcomed us really nicely. While this was a great entry to our experience at Spice Symphony I don 't believe the food lived up to the 4.7 rating shown on OpenTable (as of June 2022). The food was not authentic Indian food. For someone who has dined at multiple Indian restaurants, I wouldn 't recommend this place to someone who has also dined at multiple other authentic indian 's you will not leave satisfied. A couple of points to note, for example, the Dal Makhani (buttered lentils) came out glowing red after it had obviously been drowned in food colouring. That said the taste of the food was not terrible, it was a little bland but I believe someone who is experiencing Indian food for the first time could even enjoy themselves. For our starters, we ordered the Chilli paneer dry and the New Delhi Chaat. The chilli paneer was good as an indo chinese dish. The New Delhi Chaat lacked the crunch and sauces that you would expect from it. For our mains, we ordered the Dal Makhani, Gobi Aloo and Dal Tadka. Gobi Aloo and Dal tadka lacked flavour and Dal Makhani just was not the correct tasting dal. Overall a good human experience not so much on the food front. Ah, also excellent ice cold beers!"

"I have to be honest. This place used to be good for four years. However, the chefs change frequently and the food varies each time we visit. It has now become excessively expensive, with our bill averaging around $80. I recently discovered that I paid full price for snacks and appetizers. If your bill totals more than $50, it is wise to go to a genuine Indian restaurant where you will receive good food, service, and better value. It is preferable to spend your money there rather than here. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"We dropped early (6:15) and greeted immediately. We soon enjoyed the tamarinden Auberginen-Appetizer (sweet, stinginging, delightful), the lamb corma (creamy and dreamy with fluffy basmati rice) and the Tandoori shrimp (plump shrimps and veggies with a complex but mild sauce). We will soon return to this excellent restaurant."

"I've been visiting Ichch Massala since it opened, and the quality of the food has consistently been excellent, just like the service. The diverse flavors expertly blended in the dishes make this delightful restaurant one I return to often. The buffet provides a great sampling of the menu, but ordering from the full menu is even better. I've tried most of the items, and there hasn’t been a single disappointment. My favorites include the fish, the Tandoori chicken, the Chooza cabs, and the Gobi Manchurian, along with a nice selection of vegan options."

"This place is a great little gem! They have halal and vegetarian food and the flavors are phenomenal. The waiter was really personable and gave us great recommendations of new things to try based on our favorite flavors, and he was spot on. He also made sure to take my sister's medical dietary restrictions into account Definitely going to become regulars here!Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options and halal options, and more than just one paneer dish.Dietary restrictions: My sister is unable to have any spicy food because of her medical limitations, which is a constant concern because of how much pain she'll be in if her food has even a little spice to it. They took that into account and made her meal as mild as they possibly could so that she could still have an amazing dinner without being in pain afterwards."

"Flavor was great, I enjoyed the Lamb Biryani, was was very well seasoned and was well portioned. The lamb itself did not have the gamey flavor that I'm used to when eating lamb. The Naan was also very unique tasting, there's a bit of butter on it and it's toasted very nicely. Also had the Napoli Lamb Taas Set and the Soup Momo, which was equally as good. I'd definitely come back again. Vegetarian options: There's a whole section in the menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes, you won't have trouble finding something you like if you are vegetarian."

"I enjoy their food every single time I go, I am never disappointed. They give me samples for dishes I have never had. The food is so flavorful and the service is nice. I've been going since Febuary 2017, and kind of stumbled upon it. Finding good ethnic vegan meals on Staten Island is hard, so I was very happy to find something ETHNIC and VEGAN FRIENDLY. I happen to still eat fish, so I tried their King fish curry and oh my goodness! delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! and affordable!"

"There was a delicious dinner at the Palm Palace Indian Restaurant. The owner, Robert, commented that I always arrange the same, and I told him that I was concerned to try something new as I was not familiar with Indian food and its various spices . He listened attentively to my preferences and made suggestions that were perfect for my palate: vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and palaak wiper. The only dish I didn't crash was my ordinary garlic naan. An adventure for the taste buds!"
