"Excellent Ethiopian restaurant with great vegetarian options. I would recommend to try out the combination options they have vs the individual options. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy a lot of variety of food in a dish and then order individually. Parking is one of the problems during pick-up times, so you want as soon as it is available and walking to the restaurant, then try to find near the restaurant and then circle around. Make sure you try their bread option in start and tea."

"Lovely Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurant. Food was wonderful and included vegan dishes. The options to have vegetable or meat combinations for one or two offered a way to try a few different dishes. The after meal coffee that was roasted, made, and served the traditional way was really a treat. There was also a shop to buy Ethiopian spices, teas, beans, etc. and clay pots for preparing and serving food. Service was friendly, decor was cozy and homey.Vegetarian options: Lots of good, tasty vegetarian dishes"

"This is one of the best experiences I had in a long time. This is a restaurant that you need to go.. I mean, you don't have to be as expensive as you think to experience a true Ethiopian lunch or dinner, all food is full and fat and I love all the vegan options they had.. The service was tip, she was so nice and answers all the questions we had to get the best she could. The restaurant is small, but clean and the coffee ceremony is amazing and so strong the bold taste was sooo good and I was not willing how wonderful I would love this. This is a must and the price is so worth that I can experience it, please go."

"this is our lunch when we are in the mood to drive to new haven. the half of their entire menu is native vegan without needing any change! The lunch buffet is the best value of $10 and everything you can eat. they always have at least 6 vegan options during lunch mon- sat. they also serve meat. eating is incredibly similar to a less spicy Indian eating. they can eat with their hands with injera brot (this is really good). that's one of our favorite restaurants we've been doing for years. there are street-side meter parking places that are sometimes difficult. if you drive down the road, right at the first light there is a decent parking garage. the personal was always friendly."

"My sister and I enjoy hanging out at this restaurant. I am in my 20s and she is in her 40s, just mentioning our ages to give a sense of the diverse crowd that enjoys this place. We have been coming here for over a year and have noticed that the music has gotten better, making the atmosphere more like a club. The 10 dollar cover fee for ladies is reasonable. The food is tasty and the drinks are good. The only areas for improvement would be the quality of the hookah and the sound system, which could be upgraded for a better experience."

"THE BEST! I love Ethiopian food and make a point of finding a new restaurant when we are in DC because my hometown does not have it. I can say this was my absolute favorite ever. We had the veggie and meat sampler plate for two and an order of the Beef tibs. WOW to taste, Wow to value."

"I love this restaurant! As a vegan, a big veggie combo platter is one of my favorite meals, and Queen Sheba does it so well. I've eaten Ethiopian food all over the US and Queen Sheba keeps me coming back. Delicious, nutritious, and I also love supporting a black-owned, woman-owned business. The owner, Zion, is a super friendly and wonderful person."

"Worst service ever. They completely botched my order. The Kik Alecha tasted terrible (its usually really good) and on top of that they decided to scam me out of 2 injera. The Alecha already comes with Injera and I ordered two more on top of that which already comes with it and they decided to scam me by only giving me 2 instead of 4. Effectively, grifting me out of the 10 bucks I paid for the extra two. Im never ordering from here again, they have completely lost my trust."

"The vegetarian combination platter is excellent. Note that, for a small extra charge, you can order injera made only with teff, but give them 24 hours notice. The teff has much more flavor and isn't so bulky as the wheat injera. Get the fresh lemonade! The servers here are always friendly and welcoming, and it's always an enjoyable meal."

"This was our first trip to this restaurant and Ethiopian food. When the waitress took our order, we let her know that it was our first time, and she helped us choose a combination plate that would work for us with fish for me because I don't eat meat and everything not picky. When they brought the plate, they announced that they were out of fish to replace lamb. We were shocked that they would change the food we ordered without asking, and she was shocked that we were unhappy with it! We asked for the tofu and vegetable dishes to subtute for the fish they brought quite fast. This is our first time. The food was discarded on the table without explanation of how to eat it properly (no utensils or plates provided and no one came by to check us). We suspected that we should use the Injera as tortillas, but after we were finished, we saw another table that takes small pieces off to grab the food we felt a little stupid. The food was delicious, although the tofu with vegetables a little too spicy for me, although it was good. My husband said the chicken cubes were too sharp for him. We're both eyelashes when it comes to spices. The Gomen (spindle and herb) was delicious! Despite the problems, I would be willing to try again some different dishes, especially because they have received so many Rave reviews."

"This was a fairly unexpected and delicious discovery! The food was amazing – dependent on order. The veggie combo I ordered was delicious— I could taste the different flavors in each dish (in other restaurants, the taste tend to mix with each other. My friends ordered meat dishes and were very satisfied. The chef even ate the Kitfo (Bef-Tetare dishes for a first time! Rahel was our server – friendly and friendly. You can order the dishes with injera (they also really have teff injera! or other starches like rice. So there is something for everyone and even those who are skeptical of injera. My friends and I had a nice evening in Caffe Utopia."

"Everything at this restaurant is cooked to perfection. The family that runs the restaurant is all gorgeous souls. I never imagined that “my spot” would be an Ethiopian joint on Frederick Douglass Blvd, but I've eaten there four times in a month. When I have friends in town, I can't wait to take them here. The meat is so delicious (and I'm not crazy about meat normally). The fish is otherworldly. And the vegetables! What do they do to make those beets so good! And the potatoes. And the green bean … – show"
