"eating is good. the injera is mediocre, it seems mostly weeping and will soggy and water easier then real injera, but I have only seen real injera in an Ethiopian restaurant. they do not bear Ethiopian honey. some of the foods was cold as if it was taken from a refrigerator and microwaves this is the main complaint, can not serve a dish of half warm food and get a 4-star review..."

"The food was tasty once we received it, but unfortunately the entrees didn’t come to us until two hours after ordering in the restaurant. The waitress we had gave no indication there might be any sort of delay and generally avoided ours and all the other tables. When I asked for an update on the coffee that still hadn’t arrived an hour after ordering, she said, “I don’t know, I don’t make it.” The waters we had weren’t refilled except when requested (two hours is a long time not to proactively r … – show"

"Came with my wife for dinner on a Tuesday around 5 pm. We got dinner for two and basically asked the server (owner? to give us a little of everything. I'm glad we did, because everything was good. Nice mix of vegetables and meats, with an array of flavors that led us to go from one to the other. The only thing we declined was rice, which was also a good decision because the spongy injera bread was the perfect accompaniment. And unlike some experiences I've had at Ethiopian restaurants, the dishes were not overly oily, just nicely sauced and seasoned. I'm not a big tea drinker, but our hot tea was also very good, like black tea with a spicy/herbal kick. Service was friendly and helpful as well, and we felt welcomed to be there. Definitely a keeper."

"Always a good sign seeing a largely East African clientele spending a Sunday afternoon here at this Ethiopian standalone establishment on Telegraph. The vegetarian combo balanced a nice mix of spicy and mild. Yemeser Wot lentils had a depth of flavor unmatched. Injera tastefully tangy. While a bit pricey compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, the dishes are well-worth the few extra dollars. Currently, my go-to Ethiopian restaurant in East Bay."

"The place felt very authentic! Loved the music and the food. We had the Honey Wine with spicy ‘Kategna with Ayib’ appetizer followed by the Vegetarian platter. The only con about this place is that the food takes forever to arrive… perhaps this is because the sides were being prepared fresh."

"At the first time, order Ethiopian food and I ordered Green Chicken to go. The part was HUGE and everything is fresh. Taste very exotic and healthy. The lady in the cashier was so nice and suggested when I'm hot, I should go for the green chicken. It wasn't disappointed. A few minutes after the order, my dad came looking for dessert for my mother who is diabetic and needed something to spit on her glucose. I asked for the mango potion. The lady filled the whole cup of pure mango and later added ice as needed, then accused me for half the price of the original drink. A must to visit when you are in the Seattle Area! In any case, I will be back for more and try their other menus. Thanks for being so nice!"

"My first visit to Abyssinia was w/2 friends on a Friday night around 7:30PM. When we got there it was packed, and we were told it would be about 5-10 min before a table opened up. We took a seat in their waiting room. In the meantime, three people walked in, stated that they had a reservation, and were directed to the table we were waiting on. #1: Make a reservation #2: State that you have a reservation. They won't check with you. My second visit was outstanding. Went on a Friday night around 7:00PM. It wasn't packed and we were seated immediately. The service and food was great!"

"I was in the Alexandria area and know that area very well as I use to live across the street from Sora. I was looking for restaurants and this happen to pop up as I typed in restaurants near me. So what brought me to this restaurant were the highly posted reviews. The cleanliness was impeccable. The food was extremely tasty and delicious. In fact I tried to order a second plate however the owner was busy with another customer. Sora was well deserved this 5 star review. YUM yum!"

"inflamed to have this home!. I love Ethiopia. I have said for a while that if we just get Ethiopian and Indian food in smyrna, I would never have to go to nashville to eat. So, tonight we tried ajora, not smyrna, but so close the restaurant is in an old house. it is very clean inside. the owner was very friendly and helpful. the food was delicious, good value and abundant. the Ethiopian coffee was excellent. I have a new favorite restaurant!"

"I have been eating at Rosalind's for over 30 years. I believe it was since 1989, if my memory serves me well. The quality of the food is consistently high. The flavors are as authentic as I remember them from my childhood. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and courtesy towards customers by the management servers and cooks. This is the place in LA County to eat Ethiopian food. There is no need to eat precooked and frozen food that tastes like chicken jerky. If you are looking to experience authentic, fresh, clean and well prepared Ethiopian Food, go to Rosalind's. I recommend them very highly and you will not be disappointed. Rosalind's, thank you for all the years of amazing Ethiopian Cuisine. Happy Orthodox Easter!"
