"For only the second time during the Pandemic my wife and I headed out for what we hoped would be a wonderful Valentine's dinner away from our kiddos. Unfortunately Nancetta's failed on every level. First, we were seated and then waited solid minutes before a waiter appeared to greet us and provide water for the table, and then inquire about a cocktail. I order a Vodkasoda my wife asked what tequila they had, the response was we ran out, we don't have any really? We then waited another minutes to order food, only to be told at that point, the seafood pasta dish, my wife wanted to order was no longer available. Our reservation was at The Caesar Salad my wife ordered then appeared with redwine vinaigrette dressing. My NY strip ordered medium came Pgh Black and blue charcoal exterior and red inside. And when the bill arrived it was on par with the type of Italian bistro you would find in Greenwich Village. As much I want to support small local restaurants, and realize the Pandemic has been horrible for these businesses, our dinner was an absolute disaster"
