"Luke gave us an excellent service during our first visit. The Thai Green Curry sounded great for me, but once we told Luke that I am a vegetarian, he went ahead and followed with the cook. As it turns out that a component of the plate (even if you can include the Tofu protein chicken broth. If I had no other option in a pinch, I would overlook this detail, but Luke came back not only with this information, but with the vegan menu. I went with the Spicy Udon because I like to let restaurants know with my voice that there are males like me, the full-fledged non-meat options. The Spicy Udon has not disappointed that I have no high spice tolerance, but that was simply enough to be pleasant. Hubby had the pad Thai that he can never resist when it is on a menu, and he was happy with it. You only know that they didn't ask for spice level, so it's not so sharp that some look, but he said he was tasteful. We also ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer Super Crunch Roll and we were pleasantly surprised. It tasted fresh, and even had a great taste profile along with the sauce it comes (I always forget to take a picture of the first element of a meal when it is good, I am inspired to write a review, so this was the inspiring element! For drinks I enjoyed the Punsch my Nigori Peach Martini had in the store while the Nabeby Blackberry Bourbon Fizz was so smooth, it was like a light soda. We don't usually make a desert, but I was curious about the strawberry cheesecake. The strawberries were so fresh that I tear a little with the combination of cheesecake and sauce. Simply shameful between two without feeling guilty about exaggeration. We had a great experience. The ambience was great and the support team was also very attentive and polite. Thank you for a great dinner!"

"I cannot rave about this place enough! It is the epitome of the phrase don 't judge a book by its cover . This place is humbly settled in a food court inside of a supermarket. Although it might not look much on the outside, and can be easy overlooked in such a crowded and busy place, it is able to create an ordinary meal into an extraordinary one! Tasty Food offers the best Hainan Chicken I have ever had in my life! GOODS: -Amazing customer service! Not only is their food good, but their staff is so kind, friendly, and always willing to help no matter the request. -Two words: HAINAN CHICKEN. -Their Hainan Chicken is the biggest bang for your buck! Per order, they pack you a heaping spoonful of flavorful rice, pickled veggies for sides, and an insane amount of delicious juicy and tender boiled chicken. It comes with great sauces too! -Quick service; they run similar to a to-go place where you order at the cashier, and they call your number when your order is ready for pick up NOT-SO-GOODS: -In general, seating can be a difficult especially for large groups because it is located in a food court where they have to share a common space and seating -PRO TIP: Hold on to your chairs; if you 're saving seats and it 's empty, someone will most likely grab if from under you; no mercy -It can get hectic and loud because the other food stalls are also calling out orders for pick up -Because their Hainan Chicken dish is so popular, they run out quick! Sometimes, they run out before noon! EVERYONE PLEASE GO TRY THIS PLACE! Don 't let outwardly appearances fool you. You 're missing out if you don 't give it a chance. I would eat this dish every day if I could."

"I recently went to Lion Dance Cafe with a friend for dinner. This was the first time I tried food from Singapore. I love that a lot of care is taken with the menu and most everything is made in house. An all vegan menu and authentic Singaporean cuisine which is a unique offering. I went with the Tauhu Goreng Sandwich. It features fried tofu, spicy peanut Assam sauce, market lime leaf and pickled chili mayo, cilantro, shallot and cucumber on a freshly baked golden coconut bun. It is served with prawn less chips. The sandwich was quite alright. It was fresh, flavorful, and spicy. I love that the menu is innovative and other items on the menu looked amazing. I will surely return at some point. There are a few room for improvements. Eating the sandwich en route home back to San Francisco I found the sandwich very messy to eat as could have been packaged much better perhaps double wrapped in tin foil like a Mission burrito to prevent the sandwich from dripping. Could have used some more napkins as well. Found prices a bit expensive. The sandwich was flavorful and filling yet after tip was $17 so at nearly $20 for a sandwich is a bit costly. Finally I realize that we are more than two years into the historic pandemic. Glad some restaurants survived the pandemic yet when I dine out I prefer to eat at the establishment as am not big into take out. There was no place to eat at Lion Dance Cafe and they only offered take out. It would be nice if they offered a simple table with a few chairs outside their establishment. Despite my three suggestions for improvements that would have shifted my review from four stars to five stars I will still come back here to explore more of the menu."

"The atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing, but I don 't come for the atmosphere. The reason I only rated it 3 stars, it could be a 4 but I may need to go back a second time to see if the experience is the same. I had made reservations and the 5 of us were seated at a half booth with two chairs, nice seating. We were given our menus and water, offered popover and chicken broth. Chicken broth was amazing and warm. Popover tasted a bit burnt but it was good. Our waiter came to take our order. When he was taking our order he gave me this vibe of we don 't belong in this kind of restaurant . We are locals and try to go to new restaurants and taste new things for special occasions. Anyway, we ordered and the food tasted good. For the price of the scallops, we would 've thought it was jumbo scallops but it wasn 't. We were given a dessert menu and the waiter said he was bringing a dessert for the birthday person. I said ok thank you! We got a slice of macadamia nut pie with a candle. When the check came I was a bit shocked! We were charged 20% gratuity, not sure if they made it aware to customers somewhere. Then I checked our bill and he charged us for the birthday pie!!! If I knew he was going to charge us, he could 've at least gave us a choice on what we wanted. Not sure if I 'll be going back cause I know ow of better places with better service and food tastes just as good for less."
