"The food here is quite delicious, although the service could be improved; it's acceptable but not outstanding. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and features an open view of the street. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and sample. I particularly enjoyed the chicken masala with rice; the Bombay chicken was decent, but the chicken samosa was a bit too dry. The house salad was good as well. Be sure to try the mango lassi—it's really tasty! If you're in Brooklyn, this is a nice spot to visit, especially for the lovely views."

"Based on an order of two entrees, bread and a glass of wine, we are impressed with the food and the ambience. Lamb saag had very good quality meat and the high-level of spice I requested. A little but not too much glaze from oil. Chicken Tikka masala, my wife's favorite, had very good quality chicken and the sauce was much better than the Campbell Soup variety that is often served at other establishments. Parata bread was quite good with layers. Restaurant design was pleasing (but they forgot to upgrade the bathroom). Would like to have more dishes to give a more thorough review, but I am certainly going back next time I am in town."

"This restaurant is located across the street but still it’s location is little unconnected with the market area,hence not easily visible. The appetizers were good but main course was above average ,it’s an mediocre Indian restaurant but prices are affordable. Restaurant is clean and servers are good. They mainly get take away orders hence usually empty if you’re dining there. weekends are busy because they serve buffet in good prices. Varieties in buffet is sufficient and hot. All n all we can revisit here."

"We arrived 10 minutes early. We sat and got our menus and water. And then we waited. Two gentlemen came in, and the greeting spoke to them, and spoke to them, etc. When he finally came to get our order, we ordered Mango Lassis and said they didn't. He'd check it out. We've got our order...more servers arrived so new diners got more attention, we've never been told whether it's Lassis, but apparently not since we don't get it. The food we got was delicious, especially the Naan. But we will not return."

"Spicy means indian spicy for Swad...which is great! Ambience is ordinary n regular but makes up with food and portion size, which are awesome. Next visit should be for lunch, cos a hearty meal such as these without an afternoon siesta to follow its not the same. "Had a large group on Sunday for brunch and it seemed there was only one persons working (taking table orders, making drinks at the bar and bussing table). Took for ever to get our drinks and even more so for the food. Having said that the food was great and I have no complaints there but it seemed like it was amateur hour on the service side.
