The meat here is incredibly fresh; you’ll know it from the first bite ?. The softness is unmistakable.Special mention to their festive buffets ?! I was fortunate to experience the Ganesh Chathurthi Special on 09/16, which had an extra menu featuring Kolukattai, Pongal, Masala Vada, Puliyogare, Panchamirtham, and Masala Dosa ??. Even if you’re vegetarian, don’t worry; their regular menu boasts a generous variety of veg dishes as well ??. One day, I opted for vegetarian food and was pleasantly surprised by the plethora of options available. The ambiance of the place is complemented by South Indian 2k songs—truly a refreshing touch ?. "Tonight, my husband and I reviewed the new Indian Fusion Restaurant, Taj Fusion, On Wantagh Ave and omg, I can't say enough great things about it! Tonight was a “Soft Opening” so it’s not really open, just on a test, it was super low key and the staff was very attentive. They open officially next Saturday. Our waiter, AJ, really recommended amazing things from the menu. We started with an Indian beer we enjoyed very much. My husband and I asked him to get all our dishes for us and each one was amazing! We had the naan (cheese, plain and garlic... all were amazing! AJ recommended a trio of dipping sauces to go with what was also amazing. We also had an appetizer of Samosas.delicious and tasteful! AJ then hit the chickens Curry he said was a classic and definitely a must... my husband wanted more than we finished the dish! Only the correct amount of spices and it was delicious. Next we asked AJ to get a lamb dish for us, and he said I know the perfect dish and went away. When we got it, he told us it was called the Lamb Rogan Jos, who was a delicious sauce with a hint of garlic and fennel. Another great dish! AJ also recommended a classic Indian dessert that I cannot explain what it is, but it had a lemon sauce over it and it was good! Overall we had a great experience. The owner was very nice and we enjoyed talking to him and his mother who were there tonight. The owner insisted that we come back for the great opening to get the full experience! We are happy with the experience tonight, I can only imagine how it will be when they are fully open! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you didn't try it, it doesn't really like Indian food (like my husband and I before. The staff will help you find something and make sure you enjoy every part of it (the waiter told us that if we don't like to say anything to him, and he will make sure we enjoy our food! . My husband and I will definitely be there regularly!"
