"I don't like writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant on my birthday, October 18, 2022, was very disappointing. We didn't receive our dinner until around 8:30, even though we had a reservation for 7:15, and we didn't get our drinks until after our entrees. The service was very slow and it was difficult to get the attention of the servers. The cocktail tasted strange and was lukewarm. Aside from the chili chicken, which was mostly good, all of the food had an unpleasant taste. Even the papadum was overpowering, and the basmati rice had a taste that was almost like mold or heavily chlorinated water. The flavors were unbalanced, lacking salt, tang, or being too sweet. It's possible that the dishes were prepared to suit regional or more Americanized tastes, but I found them to be off or even spoiled. The staff did accommodate my seating request and were fairly friendly, but it seemed they prioritized takeout orders over in-house patrons. It was a very unfortunate experience. Proceed with caution if booking a table here."

"My husband and I visited Roots on a weeknight and found ourselves to be the only patrons in the restaurant for the entire evening. The waitstaff was inattentive, only checking on us when bringing out food, and we had to ask for more water. The food was disappointing - my husband ordered meat dishes, I ordered vegan options, and we also shared some vegan dishes. We were both unimpressed. The menu at Roots resembled that of other well-known restaurants in Denver, but the dishes lacked flavor, quality, and creativity. The house-made hummus and brussel sprouts were decent, but the heavy reliance on deep-fried dishes for the vegan options was disappointing. The desserts were a letdown, with the chocolate cake tasting freezer-burned and the Swedish cheesecake lacking in taste. Overall, we felt we spent too much money on a mediocre meal and are unlikely to return."

"Fantastic food and fantastic service! I had my birthday dinner there with 15 people and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was absolutely amazing. "It happened very rarely that we dined in a place twice while travelling. At Purnima, we dined in three times. The second best Bangladeshi restaurant in North America imo. The food is simply amazing, as good as Bangladesh (trust me when I say this). The place is neat. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Let me give you two examples. We were running a little late in car rentals at Atlanta airport. When we started I saw we 'd barely make it to there before closing time. So I called them and asked how should we proceed. We were replied 'ভাই আপনারা অর্ডার দিয়ে দেন, যাতে আমরা খাবার রেডী করে রাখতে পারি। আপনারা অনেক ক্ষুধার্ত, যাতে আমাদের এইখানে এসেই খাওয়া শুরু করতে পারেন। ' Next day at dinner, my daughter wanted a few extra pieces of cucumber, and unfortunately there were out. Usually my daughter is a very gentle one, but she started a very angry tantrum. Someone from the restaurant went to nearby grocery, bought moe cuke, peeled sliced it and served to my daughter. They went way out of their way to satisfy a cranky toddler. I cannot express how much I 'm thankful for this gesture!! I hope you can see how much I loved this place. I know for sure where to eat next time I 'm near Atlanta."
