"The Grove was always my favorite breakfast and lunch near the SF Convention District, but times seem to have changed it. The menu is usually the same, but the staff seems different and the outside seats have widened very strongly (and some of the inside seats are now closed). With a big meeting near The Grove was packed with a long line to lunch, and when I came back in the early afternoon it was easy to order and find a place to sit. My food lasted almost 20 minutes to arrive and the quality was not so in the past. The French toast was coated in egg wash, which gave it a cunning egg taste (other properly cooked and good taste) and the bacon was at one end raw and completely boiled on the other. Strawberries were ripe with good taste and the lemonade was freshly pressed. Another great place to eat and very able to return to its former glory."
