"I choose this place occasionally, but I was pleasantly surprised! eating was fresh, we shared salads and appetizers, good selection of drinks. our waiter dina was very helpful at dressing and cared for me and my guests from the door to the last minutes in the restaurant. we're sitting outside, I love those out of sight! I recommend this beautiful place for everyone."

"My wife and I are in our 60s and this is a top 10 all time restaurant based on our travels in the US and Europe. Superb service from Glen with recommendations, perfect pacing and service. Tableside Ceasar for two, perfect MR filets and a Grand Marnier souffle order early with cocktails) reminded us of our anniversary dinners at the Jockey Club in DC years ago. No more flying from Raleigh to Louisville to see our grandson, we will be driving and staying in Charleston to dine at Laurys!!!"

"Very cool upscale bar/restaurant. Has stools at the bar and tables/booths on the floor. Pretty busy when I and a friend went, but our server, Tommy Mac (Hopefully spelled your name right), was incredibly attentive and considerate. Food was surprisingly prompt, given the circumstances-which was awesome. Had a Winter Pear Salad with some added chicken, would highly recommend it."

"The restaurant we visited wasn't quite what we expected based on its website. It seems to have changed ownership and management after the storm. They offer breakfast and an intriguing dinner menu. The chef mentioned that once a week, they will host an international night featuring different cuisines. We went during their soft opening, which had a limited menu, but we’re excited to see how they develop in the future."
