"Balompie was recommended by a sweet el salvadorean lady at the ferry building farmer's market, and i'm so needy for pupusas that I found myself bus over the next day to try them out. I tried the espinaca pupusa and the frijoles one. The first one hit the spot, hot, delicious and cheesy, but I was let down by the beans one which felt like it wasn't freshly made. I also felt the salsa was sweet and didn't pack much spice. I'm a regular at Panchita's a few blocks down so the standards are very high. I'll be back here again though, can't go wrong with pupusas."
