"We dropped early (6:15) and greeted immediately. We soon enjoyed the tamarinden Auberginen-Appetizer (sweet, stinginging, delightful), the lamb corma (creamy and dreamy with fluffy basmati rice) and the Tandoori shrimp (plump shrimps and veggies with a complex but mild sauce). We will soon return to this excellent restaurant."

"I recently tried Indian cuisine for the first time and I was thrilled with my experience. The food was full of flavor, not overly spicy, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer I ordered and the presentation of the dishes was modern and impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back! I wish I had taken better photos, but I was too busy enjoying the delicious meal."

"We decided to try this place inspite of mixed reviews online. We arrived a little early and were the only party in the restaurant for a while. So the staff were very attentive and I'd give the service good grades. The food isn't really worth writing about. We decided to create a meal of appetizers/small plates. The vegetable samosas lacked salt, but otherwise were okay. The aloo methi tikki didn't have any taste of methi but otherwise tasted good. The rest of the food was okay, but not memorable. There are better Indian places in town."

"Wow. This is my favorite restaurant in town. I've been to several different Indian restaurants in LA, TX, and AR, and this little, yet elegant restaurant in Monroe is the best I have been to. The servers are very nice and the owner is friendly and kind. Today I left my wallet after eating a delicious lunch, and he would have allowed me to pay the restaurant back upon my next visit, but swiftly went home to get my wallet and pay this establishment because that's the kind of person I am. I am loyal to this restaurant and eat there at least 1-2 times a week. I highly recommend the gobi manchurian."

"They offered no bread. Had chorizoon wine and two croquettes with galss of wine. Bill was $34.69 then charged 4% for non credit card use.with 20% tip came out to $41.63 for two appetizers and glass of wine. Paper napkins. Friday and only 3 pepe eating. Front door glass full of hand prints. I could have gone to Anacatinin Pinecrest and ate better for less with bread. No water. Waitress has zero personality. Never again."

"Sitar Palace was one of the good Indian restaurants but after the pandemic restaurant has lost it’s taste. I am not sure if they have lost their good chefs or they are just compromising in quality but it was very disappointing. This is the second time we ordered food from Sitar Palace and both times we felt like we waisted all our money."
