"that was a very good meal. I really wanted to like eating; a byob restaurant less than 10 minutes from home. I have read mixed critikens, but the last seemed pretty good. at 7:30 a.m. on a Friday night, another couple had just begun to go and I was alone. no worries like my server (a student at college where I teach) said how unusual that is. I enjoyed the kartoffel coquets that was a simple, uncomplicated starter, but my appetit wonderful whetting. I came for the duck and often had it at some really fine central and north jersey places in the run of the years, I thought that this was really well prepared. I asked and said it was from new york. that was part of what I expected and quite expensive. I think the cook has made a great job, from preparation to presentation, with a very good product. I look forward to exploring the rest of their menu."
