"I have been buying gourmet (expensive!!! cheese here now for years. Lately, on three separate occasions I have bought three different cheeses and every time they taste and smell strongly of peppermint. I went into the store with $25 worth of peppermint smelling and tasting cheese to inform them that something weird is going on. An employee told me that they spray peppermint oil around the store to make the store good. This is clearly what is seeping into the delicate cheeses as the store smells overwhelming of peppermint!! I wanted to tell the manager because I mostly just want to be able to buy cheese here again. I also brought in $25 worth of spoiled peppermint cheese and asked if I could have a credit for something else. He said no. I told him I’ve now wasted $60+ trying to get cheese here that all smells and tastes of peppermint. He told me I should start shopping somewhere else instead of considering not spraying peppermint oil all over the store and spoiling the expensive cheese for everyone else!! Shocking!!! If you also have gotten cheese here lately and it tastes like peppermint, please tell them!"
