"If you have your sights set on a finer dining experience, go elsewhere. This place is a bit more laid back. The food is good enough, but service was quite inattentive to us. I do believe she was not well educated in the menu, and made no effort to explain anything. However nice and friendly our server was, was undone by her lack of attentiveness. Not at all introducing herself to us, and when we said it was our first time, her blank stare told us she had little experience. While the bread was good the wheat pitas did not taste traditional, we still had about 3 baskets full for the 4 of us, when we asked what kind of sugar, or molasses, honey or what was used in the pitas to give it a waffle scent, we were told it has some sugar in it ... helpful. we got the quail which really was fantastic. Our waitress did inform us that that takes a bit of time to prepare, thankful for her forethought on that. Could not say enough good about that quail. If only that bird was bigger! Difficult to eat around the bones... but its quail, what do you expect? It was perfectly prepared. Definitely a recommended choice. The beef tenderloin taco things were good but not fantastic. The hummus was wonderful!!! So in all the dinner had a few hits, and a few misses. Would have been better if the waitress had given us the check within the 15 minutes we sat unacknowledged with the card sitting on the table. But all in all it was not bad."
