"I recently dined here and was UNFORTUNATELY disappointed with the service provided by the SERVER. The server was rude and unprofessional, which made for an unpleasant dining experience. Additionally, the wait for our food was extremely long and the delay was compounded by the slow service of our drinks, including a mimosa that took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it came time to pay the bill, we decided to split it, which seemed to upset the server even further. He made a remark indicating that he knew the service was going to be subpar from the start because we asked to split the bill. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior for someone in the service industry.I understand that servers rely on tips to make a living, but it was disappointing to see that our tip was not appreciated, especially considering the poor service we received. To make matters worse, the server seemed to have a bias against us as students, which is unacceptable and discriminatory. In conclusion, I was very disappointed with my dining experience at your restaurant and would not recommend it to others based on the service provided by this server. I hope that in the future, your restaurant will provide better training and support for your staff to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.Server literally told us when we were about to leave from the table: I knew this was going to go this way when you asked to split the mimosas"

"We stopped at the Tumbleweed on our drive home, and we walked into the definition of Tex-Mex! From the antler chandeliers to the potted cacti to the country music blaring from the speakers, everything about the restaurant screamed south of the border . Of course, every good Mexican restaurant needs margaritas! Tumbleweed checked that box, as well as offering a full bar with draft beers, hard seltzers, and even full bottles of wine! The hostesses were very friendly and gave us the choice of a table or a booth. Our waitress was outstanding! She remembered all of our orders without having to write them down, and she kept our drinks full. However, there were a couple of problems at the restaurant, which is my reason for deducting 2 stars. 1) The bathrooms were dirty (boxes of paper towels strewn about the counter, grimy floors) 2) The menus were covered in grease, they were sticky, and mine had a spot of dried salsa on one of the pages. Despite these issues, everyone enjoyed their meals. The best part was definitely the chips! They were thin, salty, and packed a nice crunch. The queso was also delicious; we finished a large order in less than 10 minutes! We ordered the hot salsa, and I hardly tasted any spice. I imagine that the mild must taste as bland as ketchup. Our entrees were good--nothing special, but they certainly filled our bellies after a long day of traveling."

"Saturday HH with friends. This was my first visit to this STH location. There were a lot of guests there so the staff was busy. The hosts were masked as were the majority of the servers I saw. We did have to ask for a server after being seated for about 5 minutes. After one server change we had Brayden (sp.? for the rest of the evening. I’m glad we ended up with him because the previous server told us they were out of the syrup for the prickly pear Margarita but Brayden double checked and they had it. Brayden was patient with us and gave great recommendations. I decided to try all new food items (except the truffle fries lol from the HH menu. Everything was delicious. I loved the spicy Thai shrimp and the sliders and succotash so much I order it again. The succotash was different from traditional succotash I’m used to eating in that it had black eyed peas and bacon in it. However, the flavors complemented each other well. The green beans with the spicy Thai shrimp and the crunchy noodles on top were amazing. Everyone else loved their food also: the salmon was moist and great with the lemon butter, the crab stuffed shrimp was made perfect, and everyone enjoyed their prickly pear Margaritas. The only cons were that the restaurant doesn’t have a blender for frozen drinks (one of my friend’s wanted the HH daiquiri but passed because it wasn’t frozen and the red sangria and mojito tasted a bit like juice. I’m glad I stopped by this location so I can know to visit when I’m in the area."
