"We tried it twice. The food is of changing quality. If you're lucky, you hit the chef's good day, but apparently he has days, when he's in not such a good shape. The service is of lower quality (serving beverages nobody asked for, throwing the check on the table without being asked, adding tip to the bill like in the usual tourist trap manner). The atmosphere is not conducive to talking, because there is an infernal noise level. The air conditioning requires taking a sweater. I felt better, when I was out of the place again."

"Though we were seated immediately, wait time for food after ordering, including appetizer (chicken wings, their specialty) was 50 minutes. Waitress told us how they were packed , with 5 empty tables behind us. I believe they are understaffed and staff they have are poorly trained. 1 of 4 entrees ordered never arrived and after re-ordered, came out when we were done (after we finally split one entree between 2 people), and it was still the wrong item. Each member of staff blamed the other for the mistake. In addition, they were out of multiple items, 2 of three entrees that were served were incorrect in toppings/dressings put on burger that were undesired and wrong side dish. Wings were good, but the wait for them was definitely not worth it. Waitress was apologetic, but we will definitely not be going back."

"Jason's Deli. The name always evokes my musings about an eatery slanted toward bad movies and their stars - Freddie Kruger, Edward Scissorhands, Jason, and of course The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Alas, this isn't that place. Heck, they use a commercial meat slicer - where's the fun in that! Fortunately Jason's is a well respected and experienced purveyor of sandwiches, soups, deserts, and an extensive salad bar. These guys can actually produce the classic Pastrami and Swiss on sliced Light Rye. Order that from Subway! Their soups are quite good and the lineup changes regularly. They have an extensive salad bar which has among the offerings: Kalamata olives, green olives, hummus, chocolate mousse, muffins, cornbread, artichoke hearts, and two varities of potato salad. She welcomed me with a warm smile and positive energy, and we had a pleasant conversation. People like her truly make the atmosphere at the restaurant special, and it is clear that the place is crafted with love. The food is also prepared with love, and the pasta was absolutely delicious. "I visited for Afternoon Tea with five girlfriends. A few of us are from the UK, so have eaten at high quality Afternoon Teas in other hotels, not that we expected it to be the same: We are definitely not snobs! The good: nice decor, lovely fireplace (although unfortunately we weren't seated near it! , and what I would imagine would be a lovely outdoor deck in the summer efficient service (we were almost the only people there excellent choice of teas decent quantity of food The okay: all of the food was quite blah and didn't any memorable flavour. It was just okay. Specifically: some of the sandwiches were dry on one side, where they had presumably been left out. But still, they tasted fine. The egg salad was the best. the scones were... well they just seemed very similar to the ones you get in a coffee shop; nothing special usually, Devonshire Cream (or any cream for that matter , in a traditional Afternoon Tea is clotted. The cream we had was whipped. the pastries did not appear to be made in house. It was a mixture of average sized pastry that was cut up into small pieces, mini eclairs and mini macaroons the only item that was memorably good was for the chocolate and mint macaroon We were pretty hungry but still left about half the pastries and a few sandwiches. The tea selection was excellent, the coffee was fine, the service was very efficient and friendly. The ambiance was lacking as was almost empty, however the surroundings were lovely, so on a busier day or maybe at a different time of day it could be really nice. Probably be a great summer brunch/lunch spot ! ."
