"The food was satisfactory, but the main issue was that they added an additional gratuity without informing me. When the waitress brought the bill, I gave her a cash tip and she swiftly tried to collect it before I saw the total. This is not good business practice and has cost them a loyal customer. Adding a tip is fine, but deliberately taking more than twenty percent without my knowledge, on top of an additional 18 percent, is unacceptable."

"We were pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant was not too crowded when we visited on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. The atmosphere is very laid-back and whimsical. Tucked away in a small corner, the outdoor terrace was not overly noisy. We tried the wings and the black bean burger, both of which were delicious. I would also recommend trying the "world's smallest chocolate sundae." It's a tiny shot of chocolate syrup served with ice cream and whipped cream, but it's absolutely delicious. It's just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling too heavy. Overall, a great experience - we will definitely be returning."

"Everything about this place is amazing. The only problem with this place I would have to say would be the pricing on items is ridiculous. Yes it taste delicious but is one small empanada really worth almost $4 ? I don't think so. Aside from that everything else about this place is awesome and I love the flavors. "I've always seen this restaurant on the way home. It looked very interesting. Today, I and my friend finally have the chance to check them out. We were satisfied with the service there! Our server made us very welcome and we even met the restaurant owner. The food is great and there is Long Island great! We can't wait to come back and check the live band on the weekend!"

"Overall, we were pleased with our lunches. The serving sizes are very large and as a result the prices are higher than most Mexican food places. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and they were loaded with melted cheese. I ordered a 2 taco combo with two kinds of beans. The black beans were good, the refried beans were just OK. The shredded beef taco was very good. The fish taco tasted very good but I didn't care for the presentation."

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"

"My husband George and his friends meet at Estrellas twice a week for breakfast or lunch, and they all love the food. My husband is usually hard to please when it comes to food, but he always praises Estrellas. We recently picked up a large bottle of their tortilla soup, and I decided to get some to-go containers for myself. It was delicious! I told him to bring me a container home once a week from now on. I also plan to try their dinners, which I've heard are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop by to see for yourself - this place is a gem!"

"I haven't been to Jerry's in a long time, so I was very excited for a delicious delicatessen experience. We went between lunch and dinner, so the parking in the back of the building was convenient. The restaurant was not very busy, which was unusual for a deli. The waiter promptly took our drink orders for iced tea, which was well-brewed and not bitter. We were served delicious pickles and bagel chips while we waited. The pickles were perfect - crispy and not too salty. I am quite picky about my pickles! The waiter took our orders and our food arrived quickly. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. The bread was dry and disappointing, lacking the crisp crust and soft center I expected. The coleslaw was good - sweet and juicy, which I enjoyed. The pastrami was good, but for the price of $19+, I was hoping for something more exciting and generous. My husband ordered a whole brisket sandwich with applesauce, but was initially only served half a sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad. After we pointed out the mistake, they brought the other half of the sandwich and the applesauce. He said the sandwich was okay. Our friends had the half pastrami sandwich and sweet and sour soup, which they loved. The cup of soup was quite large, more like a bowl. I wish I had ordered the matzo ball soup. Overall, it was an okay experience - not bad, but nothing special."

"Walking around Wayne I stopped in for an afternoon glass of wine and a little snack of. The wine was very good the French fries were crispy and fresh and hot. Nice people nice ambience I will go back again. "We eat here regularly because of the big menu and food. They have very nice waiters and they give you the best service in the area! Every time we're there, we had another waitress and all were super efficient and nice. All their food is really good and also servings. Very recommended. You could be better wearing masks. "I haven't been here since it was the Eagle Rock Diner. Or, I should say, since the Eagle Rock Diner was at this location because this is so much different than the old diner. It is a new building in a different spot on the property which affords customers a nice view of Manhattan.Everyone in our party was more than satisfied with their meals which ranged from a cheese omelet to caprese avocado toast to an open-faced pastrami Reuben (pictured). Service was prompt and attentive and this was during peak Sunday brunch.I grew up in the area but live out-of-state now and this was my son's first visit to a Jersey diner. He did acknowledge that he didn't think these diners could be as good as I've always told him, but Chit Chat represented very well. We'll be back!Parking: The main reason it was hard to find parking was that my visit was during Sunday brunch. There is overflow parking, just a short walk away, at the bowling alley."

"I was satisfied with my experience in Andersens and we went back a second time, and that was also very good. Consistent. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. They immediately came to us and took our orders. The food didn't take long to get out, I read other reviews that said it, but I wonder if that was when they first opened. Often places are overwhelmed when they open first. We went after the initial fanfare died a bit. So, our food was prompt. The food was hot with the exception of an article our Mac and cheese. They took it back and quickly delivered a sharp exchange. What else can I ask? Mistake. You did it right. The order by the piece of chicken was delicious. Really good. And the ribs were also excellent. It's a barbecue and for us it was more than worth it. We'll return happy."
