"Sad to say that customer service, management and cleanliness needs improvement. I went to pick up a 10 minute carry out order that took total 45 minutes due to drive thru service not attended to, had to go inside, no one to greet, waited again, order was not ready, neither was it correct. Others walked away due to no one to greet and acknowledge as they entered the restaurant. I asked if the drive thru was open, response was our girl that works it is out today. No sign posted to communicate it was closed. No one to answer the calls to the restaurant, calls taken randomly. I asked to speak to a manager, was told the manager is in the kitchen, she sends someone else to answer my request for a discount due to the inconvenience of the long unexpected wait and order not being ready as told. The manager sends someone to give me a senior discount I was already qualified for and who never acknowledged me or spoke to apologize for the inconvenience. I received a $1.23 discount. I have always loved IHOP but this experience has changed that. I do hope the manager will seek help to change the reputation they are getting from poor customer service and lack of attending to customers as well as the overall appearance of the restaurant ."
