"We had lost a reservation at another local restaurant when trying to book their dining room, and I only received the notification about a week before Mother's Day, which caused quite a bit of panic. We had accepted that we would have to settle for take-out, so I made a call without high hopes. However, I spoke with a very friendly and accommodating gentleman named Lord, who was eager to help! When we chatted, he asked how many people would be in our party, and I mentioned 11. He kindly offered us a spot if we could arrive at the beginning of service, so we took him up on it.
We arrived a bit early and were seated right away in a lovely dining area that had plenty of space for us to spread out comfortably. The hostess was very welcoming, and our waitress, Karen, was absolutely fantastic! Our appetizers and soups/salads arrived quickly and were delicious. The children's menus were quite generous, and the portion sizes for the adult meals were equally impressive. The filet mignon and steaks ordered by our group were outstanding and cooked to perfection!
I have to highlight the chicken parmesan—it was enormous! Tender and juicy, it filled the entire plate, and I highly recommend it. Overall, we had a wonderful Mother's Day meal, and I would wholeheartedly recommend The Hollywood to anyone in the Auburn area who hasn’t dined there yet!"
