"we tried to break from our usual habits / places and to search online a little for a new curry spot. we came over anmol and I'm glad we made it, we will definitely order again from them! their meat dishes number their veggie dishes, but there is a section dedicated to the menu for vegetarian curries and there are a few options in the appetizers and side as well. I'm not 100% safe, but I bet they could change the non-vegan vegetarian dishes to keep the milk. each curry is an essential part and comes with 4 options for seasoned, from mild to very spicy. we went with medium for both and it was a good amount to begin, next time I think we will try very sharp for one of them at least (we like warm.) we have the channa masala and the Daal-Channa and both were super delicious. the garlic naan was also quite good, not exactly the style of the naan I am used (a little denser,) but nevertheless good. they offer delivery that is super and what we did, it took a because, but sometimes that is the price they pay to not want to go to get it themselves. we're coming back!"

"Worse Indian/Pakistani food ever. Ordered Chicken Korma and Chicken Currey. The sauce was like soup. The pieces were the bone toss outs of any normal chicken dish. Not one chunk of boneless chicken at all. The few chicken pieces were swimming in the soup that should have been a sauce. The home made Mango chutney was spicy but not in a good way. The rice was good, naan was okay. I recommend taking your money elsewhere. Could have gotten a nice Chinese or Italian meal for the price paid for this not good at all meal. Maybe the fried chicken is good, but stay away from the Pakistani food."

"the service was very slow, the food was not served in the right order, how fish and chips were ordered as meal, chips came at the beginning, but had to ask several times for the fish, the same for the rice and the family bbq platter and paratha. they calculated then a service fee of 18%, which under the circumstances a zero service fee was guaranteed"

"I love this place. amazing Indian cuisine made very good. this time we were the only patrons for the first hour (before Monday evening and from season) the waitress allowed our seven-year-old and eight-year-old friends to sit on their own table and treated them like adult, it was so sweet! I live that they adapt the food flavor to their lust from mild to super hot without affecting the taste. as from Great Britain, we used to eat good Indian food at least once a week and I am glad to say that this is the place with the food that makes us feel at home! I warned my friend that the little dishes hold a lot of curry. he wasn't different. the prices are fair. we all felt completely satisfied and agreed to make the visit to this site more regular."

"Trash! Went there for dinner with my husband. We ordered “madras chicken” “chicken biryani” and “garlic naan” and “2 coca colas”. The one person that’s working as the waiter, cashier and everything else took our order, went into the kitchen and then returned to help other customers and about 10 mins later comes and tells us that he’s out of coca colas and the only soda he has is left is “diet Coke” and that he’s also out of madras chicken and the ONLY chicken dish he has is chicken karhai. "We went on Saturday (October 9, 2021) to a dinner buffet with 3 friends who connected us directly from the National Airport. For us in the subway Washington area, the food was excellent; visited our guests from Houston, but TX had found a better quality food in their hometown. The ambience of the restaurant has improved much and has become more pleasant. The waitress needed either a training or was very tired. Although it's a long journey for us, I won't go back there."

"A true neighborhood classic that has been around since I 've been a kid. Location is cash only and I 'm assuming it always will be. Although the prices have steadily increased through the years (a chili chicken biriyani used to be $5! , its still been serving pretty cheap food compared to everyone else in the neighborhood. Great for takeout or casual lunch/dinner. Service might be a bit lacking, might want to check your order before heading out, but what do you expect? As long as the food hits the spot, you 'll receive no complaints from me. My go to is always the chili chicken biryani, but will occasionally get the butter chicken if I 'm feeling indulgent. The samosas are also pretty decent. Although the level of complexity and flavors of the dish might be better at other places (i.e. Uru Swati, Nepal House both right down the street on Devon , paying $13+ for a biryani when you can pay $6-7 for basically the same quantity and a little less quality is good enough for me especially during these times of rough inflation. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you live in the neighborhood. Probably won 't be winning any Michelin or Zagat awards, but they 're not trying to do that. They 're just trying to serve the actual people who 've been living there the past 30 years."
