"However, my date ordered the panko white fish, which unfortunately was not good. It had an overpowering fishy taste that masked any seasonal flavors or panko seasoning, which suggests it was either not fresh or poorly prepared. White fish should not taste like that. Additionally, my husband found his portion to be watery and lacking; it barely had any bourbon flavor, especially for the $10 price.
The wine list featured bottles in the $8 to $13 range, with glasses priced at $9, or $40 for a bottle — a bit pricier than the typical 2x or 3x markup you'd expect at a restaurant. On a positive note, the calamari appetizer was really good with a fantastic dipping sauce. I also enjoyed a solid beer from the sister establishment, Pig and Whiskey Bar, thanks to our attentive waitress. Overall, it was a mixed experience."
