"Very unique little restaurant that's easy to miss but impossible to forget once you've been. In the morning they have fantastic pastries and breads and coffee. For lunch and dinner they have a variety of amazing ceviche, beef and chicken options. Every plate is a beautiful work of art and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the quality of everything they have to offer. It seems impossible to leave here less than completely satisfied!One thing to note is that it's very tiny (maybe a dozen people at most can be seated between the inside and outside combined), so be sure to make a reservation or be prepared to wait. We snuck in early today (noon) and were able to find a table but it was packed (and then some) by 12:30.Favorite dishes so far are ceviche and saltados. The oysters are unlike any you've ever had with roe and a little bit of heat."

"The food is awesome, the Beef tenderloin tiradito special was incredible, the Salmon ceviche too, the Black tamal and the Octopus was the recommendation of our Waitress Victoria and was so delicious. Definitely came back soon!"

"Unfortunately, when we made our reservation at 7:15, Sandbox was closed. It was New Year's Eve and we were very disappointed when we had no plan B. We even wanted to call, but never got an answer."

"excellent eating and drinks. whenever I'm in S.F, I have to dinate here. you can't find that in loose angeles. they have delicious food for vegans and for carnivores. the pig-bell tacos melt in your mouth. the best spicy tequila drinks!"

"Nina was an exceptional server. We have multiple allergies to contend with and she, along with the kitchen were able to give us multiple choices. The food was exceptional! Though we do not live in the area, we'll find another excuse to travel the distance to come back!"
