"I went to this diner twice and enjoyed the friendly service and ample menu options. The food was hearty, but the breading on the calamari was too salty for me and some of the chicken in the chicken and waffles was overcooked. However, I still recommend giving this place a try. The diner has a genuine atmosphere and even offers valet parking at the lower level."

"Pretty awesome diner hidden off the beaten path in Flushing! Looks like it’s been here for a long time. But the food is terrific! And very reasonably priced! Note: Cash only (Walgreens next door has and ATM). I got the French toast, which was cooked exactly as I like it..crunchy in the outside, soft and mushy in the inside. My wife got a solid BLT. Coffee was perfect too. Friendly service! I will be back!"

"Excellent food and service! The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the food was truly delicious. The iced coffee was huge and packed with flavor. The bacon and sausage were fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the chicken tenders were—not at all dry. The eggs and home fries were also excellent. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it took a while for our server to take our order and for our food to arrive, and the prices are a bit higher than I typically expect for a diner."

And the food is phenomenal, all they have/serve us delicious. I recommend the Penne vodka w/chicken for lunch / dinner. "I'm giving 5 stars because it's usually very good. Yesterday I paid for my usually extra lean corned beef on steamed Kaiser with spicy mustard. Unfortunately it was not lean. I guess that part was not relayed to the person who made my sandwich, I wish they had not relayed the charge to the cashier."

"I am disappointed to see negative reviews about this restaurant because the food here is excellent! I have been a loyal customer for almost 5 years and every visit has been consistently great. My favorite dish is the farmers omelette. The lady at the counter may not always seem friendly and may come across as a bit brusque, but I understand that the staff is always busy and working hard. It is possible that there may be an occasional mistake with a dish due to the high volume of customers they serve. Unless you have worked in the fast food industry, you may not fully appreciate the challenges they face. Despite any minor issues, I will continue to dine here and support this establishment."

"I would’ve given the place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the horrible service we had. The waitress (Heather) came and didn’t even say hello or anything, she just went straight at it, took our drink orders, came back slammed the cups on the table and left… by the time she took our order we had already finished our drinks, we sat there waiting for our food drinkless. Our food came… now that deserved a 5 star on its own. Food was delicious, props to the cooks! Steaks and burgers were perfectly cooked and it had great flavor. My husband asked for some jalapeños, that never came… we ate half of our meal with still no drinks, until we were almost done eating she showed up again to ask if we wanted more drinks???We finished and sat there for a bit longer, overheard a nearby table telling another table the food is great here, but the service is not. I guess it sums it up right there…. We might come back just because of the food, hopefully we will have better luck with a different waitress!!"
