"Loves the S. Side Walnut Café. Why? Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. There were countless times. Never disappointed. Come early on weekends... well before 9:00... to have to wait too long. Esp. for a table outside when the weather is beautiful during the COVID times."

"I believe this is under a new owner? I like the food. They checked on me regularly. Love the Scotch Eggs, one of the main reasons I go. Can't get those anywhere else I know of. The bartender made a great Long Island Tea for me. The waitress was super nice. I really dig the meatloaf and potatoes! Will keep going back unless things change. "Grumpy's veggie burger, first introduced to me many years ago by friend and former Toledoan, Michael Osterman, is the best I have ever eaten. The same goes for the turkey burger, introduced to me by Adam Goldberg, the tuna melt shared with me by Cydney Goldberg, the sandwiches I have tasted that Josh Goldberg enjoys, and the desserts I have shared with family and friends.
