"The quality of Safeway products at this restaurant is average, but the service is lacking. During my visit today, I had originally planned to purchase a piece of fish fillet. However, when I saw that stone fish were also available, I decided to purchase another piece. The young Caucasian man serving me, who wore round glasses, seemed irritated when I changed my order. He questioned my decision, hesitated to make the change, and rudely asked if I was sure that was all I wanted. This kind of customer service was extremely disappointing."

"I went to Safeway to buy oysters, I got there at 7:20pm and they close at 8pm in the meat&fish product dept. The employee said that he can't help me because he's training somebody and I asked him nicely if he could just help me real quick because it doesn't take that long to pack the oysters and the fact that they're still open but he said he can't. I was so disappointed. My wife went there to try if they'll help her she got there 7:25pm and same thing he didn't help her. My wife called the manager and told about the concern. The manager talked to the employee if he can help her and the employee told to the manager that he can't because he's training somebody and asked the manager to watch the trainee so he can help my wife but the manager didn't do anything. So they ended up turning away customers. The manager could've done something to this problem since the employee offered an alternative way to help my wife but he wasn't willing to watch the trainee. I understand if you're short staff but if the customer got there on time no matter what you still help customer. This is one of my BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT to Safeway Hollister! Hope this won't happen to other customer."

"Terrible experience for a fast late night Safeway running! The cashier Miguel was great, but you can say he was very exhausted as he was extremely busy and the only cashier available at night before Easter (as seriously only a cashier at night before a busy holiday). He accidentally accused me of Dragon Fruit (which is quite expensive) I noticed when I went out and I quickly came back in agreement for what I thought would be a quick refund. He tried to help me get a refund, but a manager or maintainer was not where to be found. I waited almost 10 minutes when he went to the store floor looking for a line and the line just growing. When he came back, one could say that he was just as frustrated as I, and I ended without leaving my refund as I could feel many people in the line that also frustrated. Safeway You need to fix this, either have more staff available or open yourself checkout or just close early. I think I'm more upset about the treatment of employees than about my refund. How serious for a business like about price as a safeway would you expect not only for their customers but especially for their employees. There were no baskets or baskets available from the beginning. Security If you cannot get decent customer service at night than before to close. That was 10:30."

"I love these safeway staff are always helpful in the food sector. I don't like the Starbucks. The girl who worked called Maci who waited for me today needs some serious customer service training. I asked about something non-coffee her answer was that we are a coffee shop so that everything has caffeine. I bought a cup she didn't offer to wash it, put my drink in it. In the past, I have bought cups as gifts that the person waiting for me always offered to put my drink in my cup, not knowing that it was a gift. Even though I tried to use my Starbucks app, she said that we don't use the QR code we use a barcode you know the long ones with lines, its in the app She didn't explain which app Safeway app or Starbucks app? Think I should call the store manager? Terrible service."
