"as a tex mexxer I lower my expections of personal satisfaction when I dine colo mex. not here. I am good. ryan the server was perfect in my mind mainly because I have a pet peave when a server yanks plates or even asks about my partially consumed ones. and he did neither! the food we got was excellent. clean, fresh, good portioned. creative. the orange rice and black beans are as tasty as they are colorful. the three cup chips and dip appetizer was great and white goat cheese to my surprise makes awesome queso. those thicker but somehow still light on the stomach chips are simply the best. there is none like those for sale at the grocery that I am aware of. the kids menu rocked the basics with all the freshness and flavor needed. my iced tea seemed strong not watered and that is my preference. good and brown. I had a big chicken quesadilla with of course grilled meat and just the right amount of peppers inside. and not too much cheese which I agree is at times a tex mex error. the wife and mom in law's grilled chicken enchiladas were excellent with verde and drizzled goat cheese. they cut easily with a fork. personally, I would have preferred a rojo sauce (im assuming that was an option) so in some ways I'm off on this beat. fountains for the kids outside in summer, bring towels."
