"I understand this restaurant is closing in a few weeks but this is the VERY worst experience at a restaurant I have EVER received. Arrived for my birthday, party of 12 with a reservation that had been established for a month, only to be told even though I have a reservation for 2 tables we couldn’t sit together, even though when I spoke and made the reservation with a member of their staff he assured me we would. After 30 minutes 1 booth area was available but there are 12 of us and we’re tired of standing and hungry! So we all go sit down. 15 minutes later after I have to request them, a young woman who claimed she was the store manager came to our table…(with NO apology for the inconvenience or the lack of customer service) to inform us that we couldn’t sit together, they would have to spread us out throughout the restaurant as tables open up. When I questioned her she said DUNAVANT doesn’t really acknowledge reservations it’s just preliminary and if the space is available they will seat you. Eventually we were seated in groups of 6 on opposite sides of the restaurant. The food took an hour to come out, which we had been informed several times, almost like they were trying to get us to go somewhere else. The food was subpar, nothing to get excited about. The waiter at our table did ok, but my family at the other table was very disappointed with their waitress. Needless to say it my 45th birthday, my family and friends came to celebrate with me and we didn’t even get to enjoy that time together. Then to encounter the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, no empathy, no apology, no tact and making the patrons feel like they are the inconvenience. Unacceptable.Parking: Get there early and be prepared to walk. They have very little street parking available in front of the restaurant and nearby lot"
