"Annette was perfect! She was able to balance us with some large tables that came in after us with ease. The food was amazing. My husband is Italian and said the meatballs were almost exactly his family’s recipe (just missing a few herbs but not at all disappointing). I had the Italian wedding soup and it was the best I (and my husband) have ever had when dining out! I also ordered some shrimp and they were HUGE. They put the jumbo shrimp at St Elmo’s to shame. Our calamari appetizer was also perfect, they serve the rings and tentacles (I’ve never had calamari this way and it was honestly amazing). Finished everything off with a divine tiramisu! Only gripe would be the rough parking but I don’t think that’s the restaurant’s problem at all. Will definitely return!

"This wine bar gave me the worst experience I've had in a minute. We had a reservation on Monday the at When we arrived the doors were locked and the place was empty. Leaving me to wonder how we had not been informed of any sudden closing or the fact that our res was unable to be fulfilled by the bar. We could tell that they hadn't properly been closed due to the fact that all the lights were on as well as a sign still out and furniture. We just went with it and figured we'd brush it off because after it all it was ONLY my Birthday Celebration!!!!!!! Went to the Cuban place around the corner and had a nice time. As we return to our car we notice they are back open and there is one girl sat at the bar and the other serving. When we step in to ask why they had closed she said she literally didn't know. Like, she actually shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. And that she was there at and had just got back. Thus telling on herself. May I add that she seemed to be high as hell off of whatever she partook off on her break. She refused to have an explanation and the girl who was obviously her drug partner sat laughing. I have never felt so disappointed and dismissed by a establishment in my life. The fact that she had no concern or resolve and just stared blankly and LITERALLY shrugged. People like this have absolutely no business in service! I will not be coming back! I had heard some bad reviews before but figured we'd see for ourselves. We did!!!"

"Tapas; only the thought of her brings a smile to my face. As a trained cook interested in authentic Spanish cuisine, one can imagine the level of my excitement and curiosity when I learned that there is a tapas bar about a mile away from where I live. My wife and I first visited a Friday night, we went to a later dinner. We went in and were pleasantly surprised at the Mediterranean atmosphere in the restaurant. There was a very tasteful dining room with elegant tables and dark wooden chairs, and there was a very welcoming, relaxed bar area. Originally we wanted to sit in the dining room, but because we had come strict for the tapas, we asked for the bar area. A look at the menu and I got in; this was authentic Spanish tapas: Chorizo Espanol, Piquillos Rellenos de Cordero, Queso de Cabra... I wanted everything. The bartender was our server and he insisted to offer the nights specials, but we decided to start with only four tapas to give them the opportunity to impress me. We ordered the Spanish piquillos paprika filled with lamb and a port of Shallot reduction, herb-crazed goat cheese over marinara sauce and roasted bread, steak tartar and medals of roasted pork fillet with tetilla cheese and Spanish piquilless pepper sauce. The coating was beautiful, the flavors were amazing and I was certainly impressed. So much that we ordered two more tapas before we even stay for dessert. The other thing that really impressed me was the level of personal attention you received from waiting staff. It was so much more than usual I can help you. At one point a gentleman had come to the table to ask our wine (without asking) and to see if we needed anything else; it turned out to be the owner. At the end of the night we spent almost three hours at the Bistro Mediterran Tapas Bar. We had three glasses of wine each and we shared six tapas, plus dessert. The bill was very affordable at less than $70. We had an amazing meal, we drank a fantastic wine and we loved it so much we went back the next night to dinner. If you're looking for something outside the box, something simple, something fresh and a bit of a treat, you won't see more than Bistro Mediterran Tapas Bar."
