"I think the Lookout Bar and Grill was understaffed for the bookings they took. Table service was slow to non-existent. Several patrons had to go to the bar and get their drinks and menus after waiting for an unacceptably long time. The meals were ordinary and overpriced. It's a shame because it is a resort and generally patrons are happy to pay a higher price knowing where they're at, but without service, it makes the whole experience disappointing."

"WOW! I have read some of the reviews and am shocked. I've been frequenting Alfred's since I was a young lad. This is one of the premier restaurants in the City. The steaks are incredible. They make home made ravioli. The bar is renown for holding top whiskey. I normally have my dinner at the bar and the service has always been exceptional. There's one thing I cannot stand and that's an arrogant, inattentive barkeep and I have never seen that at Alfred's. The barkeep has always been top notch. This is one of the few joints around where they actually know how to make a proper martini. I personally know the owner, Marco. He's a consummate gentleman raised in the restaurant business. If you want fast food this isn't the place to come to. Enjoy your experience at Alfred's. Don't rush it. Let Marco and his crew take care of you and I promise, you will have an enjoyable evening."
