"Pangaea is a black tie, fine dining affair but without the black tie. Everything from the cocktails thru the entrees to the desserts are carefully crafted, expertly prepared but still have a fun and casual vibe to them. The menu changes seasonally, has a select number of curated choices but lacks any type of theme, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's a bit strange to see a burrito and nachos next to pasta bolognese. The same limited choice applies to the wine list but, again, the selections available should satisfy most diners. The traditional decor is adorned with artwork on display, and the staff are attentive, inviting and complete the experience."

"that was our second year, after the nutcracker, with children. we chose the merchant after a pleasant experience last year. the ambiente is pleasant and the waiter was friendly. I had the hamburger who was tasty, but the bungalow was stale and began to fall apart shortly after I started eating it. my daughter got the fish chips where she didn't care too much about the dough that was used, reminded me of the dough that was used by Chinese restaurants for their fried garnels. the service was attentive to our nussallergien and were very friendly. it took longer than expected to get our bill, and the restaurant seemed slow. I would go back, but we can try another restaurant next year."

"Our server was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. The special of the branding was delicious. The insalata mista was small for the price of $17. My husband and another friend ordered the other special chicken saltimbocca. The chicken itself was delicious, however the zucchini which accompanied the entree, were very salty."

"That was a great experience. There is a wealth of friendly, helpful and professional weight staff. The olive oil at the table was the most complex, tasteful olive oil I ever had. The Burrata and marinated shrimps were the perfect starters. My wife had the sole almond who was brilliant. The mushroom risotto with Quail was amazing, I never had better quail. Cream Brulee was great. All drinks and wine were delicious. We will definitely be back, thanks Illir for hospitality!"

"The best fish in all of Sarasota! We have tried them all Shore, Owens Fish Camp, Walt's, Crab Fin, Marina Jack, etc and those are all good but there is no comparison with Off the Hook, especially if you want super fresh locally caught fish. We had red snapper and halibut. Both were cooked absolutely perfectly and tasted amazing. We tried two of the many different preparations available and could not decide which we liked best. The crab cakes were excellent and the salads also very good. The wine list is brief but had many nice varieties on offer at very reasonable prices Wesley took very good care for us and made us feel like we were dining with friends. This place is a little hard to find, but worth the effort. You will be glad you did!"

"I asked for an outside table on the reservation. I called around 18 o'clock in front of my 630 book and asked if we could sit outside, I said they could let this happen. When I arrived, the manager was rude and bluntly said, well we only have 5 tables. I let him know what the man said on the phone and he just stared at me empty. when I passed the restaurant an hour later, they had put some extra tables outside."

"I went to Burton's Grill of South Windsor last night. I had a limited time because I had to be at the cinema for a 19:30. I arrived at 6:15. It was a busy time so I was one of the high peaks in the bar area. My waiter was Phil. I let him know I didn't have much time. He was very polite and very efficient. He let me know he'd put me on a hurry. I ordered the beet salad with Cajun grilled shrimps and French fryers. My food arrived in about 15 minutes. It was so delicious. The food was very well seasoned, aesthetically beautiful on the plate and the portions were generous. I couldn't be happier. I was able to have a wonderful dinner in time on a Saturday evening without reservation. Unheard. Great service. It was a while since I was in the area and had eaten at Burton. I will definitely be back more often. Thank you."

"It feels like walking through the door being wisked on to a vacation far away. The art is fabulous. The ambiance is delightful. The staff was great. Then there is the food.... absolutely delicious! They bring a basket of breads to make anyone that still eats carbs in SM very happy definitely 'carb worthy '. The Ditalini Rigate Amatriciana was so flavorful with perfectly crisped bacon. The Vitello Saltimbocca Capo was decadent is such a good way! It is very rich, which made it great for sharing. Between dinner desert they served an assortment of cookies. The peanut butter one was my favorite. Then.... ohhhh the Chocolate Souffle worth each and every calorie of that fluffy, yummy cloud from heaven! We look forward to bringing friends loved ones back to share it with."

"Great food in Downingtown. With my wife, my son and my daughter. (Menu is not especially child-friendly) We tried three appetizers The Braised Pork Belly, Crispy Point Judith calamari and the cheese plate. The pig bell is big and a fairly large part, it was the winner of the three. The Calamari were good, but what made the plate was the inlaid pepper medal that contained on the plate was her delicious. The cheese plate was good with three beautiful cheeses, the fennel infused goat cheese was the best of them all. The bacon jelly contained on the cheese plate was also winner. However, the waitress at serving the cheese plate did not tell us what the cheeses were and did not know for the matter and had to ask other employees what they were after we asked the point of the question. I ordered the Seared Duck Breast, which was boiled to the right temperature and the blood orange sauce was a perfect pairing. My son ordered the Bouillabaisse that he enjoyed but thought the sauces were a bit too thick. My wife got the Scampi Style Gulf Shrimp she also liked. My granddaughter got the Smoked Chicken Risotto she thought it was a little light on chicken and heavy on the Risotto, but they enjoyed it. To dessert we got to share the Jewish apple cake and the chocolate gantry tart and both were very good. The restaurant is small and there is no sound level to disturb the conversation. Service was very good. I'm looking forward to dinning again."

"This is by far the best restaurant in SW Kansas and one of the best steakhouses you will ever eat at. It has a staff you would expect in a much larger city. We eat at Prime on the Nine at least 6 times a year. The Ribeye steak is fantastic and the drinks are top notch. It is our favorite restaurant to enjoy a celebration dinner of any kind. I highly recommend Prime on the Nine."

"Our first nice dinner out while we are in HMB and it will be difficult for others to live up to it! The freshest, highest quality ingredients I have had in a long time. Everything was expertly prepared. Portions are on the smaller side but didn’t mind. Also the back patio where we had dinner was absolutely beautiful. Must try the desserts- key lime pie and chocolate cake were incredible."

"Excellent dining experience, from the stunning fountain in front of the foyer entrance, to the eclectic combination of antler fixtures paired with contemporary design; this is a top notch dining experience. Offering an extensive wine menu, you set the price tag only with your appetite. I settled on the incredible Chilean Sea-bass, and what an excellent choice for me. You may decide on the wagyu as did my significant other, but grateful for extremely talented and knowledgeable staff who truly know the definition of a fine dining experience."

"Service terrible. Waited about 15 min for hostess to give us menus. Flagged her down and she was oddly surprised when we asked for menus. We waited another 20 min for server to take our order. And almost an hour for the food to arrive but the restaurant was not crowded. We had to flag the server and hostess down to refill waters and get bill. We didn't order dessert because we didn't want to wait another 40 min! Food mediocre. Mussels.. I could not finish it because some of them were fishy so I lost my appetite. The mussels were tiny. I'm used to the bigger fleshy Carslbad ca ones. Broth was lukewarm and too salty. Not flavorful. Pate pass. It was on tough side. Hard to cut through. Filet mignon. Was tasty. Chicken liver mousse. That was excellent. Flavorful French onion soup lukewarm! Hardly any cheese. Big slice of bread to broth ratio was off. We would not come back."
