"The pictures of the entrance and lobby are very nice so we booked the place. When we got there, however, the room we stayed in was kind of shabby and not very nice. The furniture was old, bent, sticky in places. The chair was broken. However, the banquet hall was all ready, set for a wedding, and the pool was nice to experience. We wanted the place for the pool. There is also a small bar by the pool which we didn 't use. The hotel is close to the beach and restaurants in Spring Lake, a good location. We paid less than we would have at The Breakers on the Ocean, (which was sold out), so we got less. Kiernan mentioned to my husband upon checkout that they 're going to be making some improvements to curtains and air conditioners. I would paint the walls though and install new furniture instead of air conditioners because the air worked fine. It was quiet with not many people. Overall, our stay was just okay .Rooms: Our room needed help. Renovations would be a very good thing."
