"the first time I visited the cornbread cafe, was on a road trip years ago. I found a vegan restaurant. it is now one of my favourites to eat! I don't often go through eugen, but if I do, I have to stop at this place every time. everything is delicious, the personal is all so sweet, and I just have to express my gratitude for this fantastic place!"

"Everything is spectacular at Purple Carrot. The desserts should die, especially the cookies, I love the breakfast cookies. The Buffalo Flatbread Pizza is one of the best I ever had. It has chicken and sausage on it, lots of cheese, the sauce is great with a decent kick and the dough / crust is a 10. They do something of the best bread in the state and I will argue that all day. I'll get some for every family event and all raves about it. You need to try Purple Carrot Bread Co for yourself."

"I visited Communitea several years ago and it was very nice. This past weekend when I took my granddaughter for a special “high tea” I was beyond disappointed. We walked into a very musty smelling room with no customers and all the tables uncleared or cleaned. A man came out in a tshirt and greeted us. We sat down and got to choose a tea pot to have our tea served in. Mine was small. I guess that was a mistake because no refills. Our server did bring us food that was fair…..one thing he said was there were deviled eggs on it. Well, I know what a deviled egg is and it is not a boiled egg cut in half. The server never once checked on us. I used the bathroom and the sink was full of black colored mold. I don’t know what’s going on but it was sort of bizarre. Oh and they never even cleared or cleaned the other tables the entire time we were there. Just dirty dishes and food sitting around us."
