"We were very excited to have dinner here after seeing the ratings. However it took our servers 20 minutes to grab us water and glasses and another 30 minutes to order our food. We were one of 10 tables so we were confused as to where all of the service staff was. Once we got our food, one of the back waits took multiple plates away that we were still finishing, including trying to take the one that my partner was still eating off of. The food was ok, honestly in Williamsburg there’s much better especially for the price and service."

"I have really enjoyed London Plane in the past and hope this was just a one-off bad experience. The hostess was warm and prompt but we barely saw our server and nearly had to beg her to take our drink order. She definitely mastered the art of not making eye contact! After we received our food, we didn’t see her again until the check was presented. The baked eggs were quite good but the pork was terrible; super dry and overcooked. Our server did not make any inquiry on the food or drinks and missed the opportunity to fix the experience."

"Their specialty dish was the Fish and Chips. The fish was tasty, but the chips were generic seasoned fries that didn't match the menu description. We didn't feel the meal was worth the $42 price tag. My wife chose the Seafood Pesto Tortellini ($49) which tasted like it was store-bought. The dish only had a few shrimp and pieces of fish, which was disappointing considering the price. The sauce was more of a cream Alfredo than pesto. However, we did enjoy the Key Lime Pie. My Tito's dirty martini cost $19. Overall, the dining experience fell short of our expectations for the expensive price."

"Maitre'd Instead of asking us to voluntarily disclose our vaccine status barked at us... Are you Vaccinated!?!?!Is that even okay to ask, and in such a way?We had made a reservation. However, we don't disclose medical info to strangers especially ones that yell at us LOL .... My husband's ID has been hacked before. I asked if it were a requirement to dine with them. And then he walked it back a little and said we could fill out contact tracing. I said I was happy to. When I was filling out form I said, that as an other professional in customer service, you have to me very careful in asking people to disclose private information.He said He wasn't there to have a conversation with me about that I said, if that were the case, my husband and I guess weren't there to dine with him. We turned around and walked out. I have been dining out for years in Manhattan. First time I have walked away"

"Great Guinness. Great food. Great service. Great little place. Can definitely recommend. We called in as we were basically tired from walking, and I was getting a little grumpy, so we decided to drop in for a drink and ended up staying for quite a few, plus having some Mac n Cheese, Wings and fries. It was quiet when we first arrived but filled up very quickly, and the waitress was brilliant and worked her socks off to keep on top of everything. So go, try the Guinness, and the spicy wings."

"What makes this place a 5-star? The friendly service with a smile. This place is very cozy and quaint. It is no wonder that it is a popular joint. I can only imagine how busy it is on the weekends. There are plenty of seating inside and about 3 to 4 tables in front. Latte art is one of the best that I have seen... as it should be or not, but I highly appreciated it. The blueberry scone was crumbly and dry, but with the help of the jam, it made it better. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely return."

"What a yummy and cute place! Everything was delicious except for the donut bites. They were very bland a little too dry for me. The 'flavors ' are not infused on the inside, instead you just get the smallest amount of whatever filling on the outside leaving the rest of the donut bite tasting plain. I would skip these when ordering next time. My sweet potato hash was very flavorful on the other hand but portions are on the smaller side( I normally have leftovers when I get a hash). I also asked what was very hardy on the menu because I was hungry . The pancakes were amazing and so creative. Loved my seasonal pancake with white chocolate chips, blueberry compote and vanilla whipped cream but the star of the show is definitely the lavender blueberry pancake. Would strongly recommend ordering something sweet and savory if that is your thing. Staff is nice and atmosphere is fun. Would love to return!"

"It was definitely warm and inviting! Our server was great food portions were good! Definitely recommended for lunch spot if you wanted to sit in. Would definitely like to try it at night cute date spot! We discussed them branching out to Miami they definitely should! I could see it being a great spot on the beach! "The hotel/train station was beautiful architecturally and they had live calm music. The stationary restaurant looks the part of a downtown spot to eat. The issue is the execution of serving temperature with the food and flavor profile. Service was standard, nothing to blow your socks off. Plating of food was aesthetic and pleasing to the eyes. The hotel venue saved this from a lower rating. Ordered coal fired pork appetizer which the meat was tasty, the cucumber salad was refreshing, and the sauce was interesting. The ribeye steak came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked correctly but when served the temperature was room temperature. This along with lack of seasoning took away from the taste and experience. The potato’s were neutral flavor and cooked correctly but still served at a low temperature. The asparagus were the best part of the dish. The portion was filling. The burger was served hot and fresh with many good flavors. Nothing incredible but sufficient. The side of potato wedges were crispy and thick topped with a buffalo type drizzle. These were good, but if you don’t want an overly potato flavor they wouldn’t be for you. Overall this dish and side were good. The portion was filling. With a few tweaks this could be a top notch spot to eat, but for this experience it’s a middle of the pack place. I’d spend my money and time elsewhere for a similar price range. Was it worth it? For a one time date yes, for a consistent restaurant staple the first impression didn’t hook me."

"I've been coming here for a while and they are probably the best bagels. However, in the last two times, I've had soggy bagels. I'm not sure if they're not drying off the work surface the bagels are prepared on, but the bottoms of the bagels are just soaked in water. A bagel and cream cheese shouldn't be wet. This is a very easy fix. Unfortunately, these bagels with a perfectly blistered crust are just being ruined at the final step."
