"Twenty minutes later, half of our food arrived: a quesadilla with chips and salsa. We asked for a cup of water, and upon receiving it, we noticed that the rim had old lipstick and tajín on it. When we pointed out the dirty glass, the bartender didn't apologize and acted like it was a common issue.
Twenty minutes after that, she passed by and realized the other half of our order was still missing. She brought it out 30 seconds later because it had been sitting in the window. We received our sandwich and fried pickles, which were unsurprisingly cold. After that, she never checked in on us, so we had to flag her down to ask for our check. Again, she disappeared, and we had to ask another bartender for it.
When we finally received the check, we noticed that she hadn’t substituted the queso for salsa as we had requested. When I brought this up, she said it didn't matter because both items were the same price. However, the menu clearly states that queso is $8 and salsa is $5. She claimed the menu was wrong and that they had recently changed it, but if there was a change, she should have communicated that.
As people who work in the service industry, we understand that mistakes happen. However, the lack of effort, service, and communication made for a very disappointing experience. It felt as though she didn’t care about serving us at all."
