"we eat here at least once a week and love it. we originally came for sushi and sashimi, but the Chinese food is excellent. they always host our desires in the preparation of meals which I do not take of course. Once they know them personally, they are going to be totally overboard to make sure they have a great experience. they always seem so excited to see us, although we are often here. never disappointed by eating or hospitable."

"My family and I have been ordering from Hunan Star for over 8 years and not one time have we been disappointed! Their food is always served hot and yummy! Hands down the best Chinese/Asian food in town! If you ever get tired of just doing take-out, I’d recommend actually dining in! The service is amazing and we never leave hungry. In fact you always have leftovers because their portion sizes are so large! P.S. You gotta try their pizza rolls! We’ve ordered so many times they know us by name HAHA! They earn our highest recommendation!!"

"My favorite place in Hoboken hands down.The portions are HUGE and the prices are low. 6.75 for lunch special with a huge soup, a huge lunch portion, a black tea bag and a fortune cookie. That's enough for 2 of me.Literally. This is 2 lunches for me.A great deal also is the rainbow roll special which is 11$ and comes with huge portion of the roll, 4 pieces of sushi, a soup AND a salad. You can't beat that.My humble opinion anywaysOh and they have bubble tea and Thai iced tea . What else do you want?????"

"I love the bark lo my, spare ribs, and orange chicken! the combination plates are huge and they get a discount on lunch combination plates. the prices are excellent and they can pay for fast pick up on their web page. they can also reserve a time to only drive and pick up their order for lunchtime! without having to wait and waste their lunchtime minutes in the preparation of food. I always ask you to sneak in my order. they will put what they want in their order. the staff and the guy in front is creepy and always makes me laugh! I also order the delivery to doordash from them, because it is fast and sometimes not a delivery fee if they order via a certain amount of food! loyal customer for years since I went to chattanooga, tn pulled and reminds me of the Chinese food in nyc and my hometown washington, dc."
