"We went to McGreevy’s last night. We’re two working class guys in town from Nebraska to see the Dropkick Murphys. We couldn’t find a seat upstairs so we went downstairs and things really began to be cool. Little less volume but we had our own waitress/bartender named Jackie. She was excellent, made us feel at home, was efficient but not pushy. My friend had two Barroom Heroes beers that were very good and we ordered food. Thinking it was going to be typical “bar” food we were impressed. I ordered the Shepard’s Pie. It was excellent! The best thing was it was hot! My buddy had the Fish and Chips and said they were excellent as well. We also shared the Pickle Spears (appetizer) with Ranch dressing, they were hot as well as good. Dropping in at McGreevy’s on a whim was the perfect way to start off our arrival into the City of Boston. All of the wait staff were kind and Jackie with her good attitude and sheer hustle made us start our trip off in the best way possible. We will be back and sooner then later! Thank you!"
